I must confess, I want to read all of the books above. I’m beyond excited to read Afterlife by Claudia Gray, the 4th in the Evernight Series. I’m very fond of Ellen Schreiber’s work too. The Vampire Kisses series is pure fun. I’m not familiar with Kimberly Derting’s work, but I’m game to give it a try. And the two debut authors – seeing them mixed in with such good company, I have to give them a try too. I love discovering new authors because if they’re good I put them on my must read list and read everything they offer.
Which book do you most look forward to reading? and why?
I’m going to go with Afterlife. The Evernight Series has been suggested by multiple friends, but I didn’t make it a priority. A few weeks ago, I read Evernight and I was hooked. I quickly found the next two and then realized the 4th book isn’t out yet. I was disappointed but I don’t have long to wait!!!
I’ve read the excerpts of each book and…..
Angelfire is intriguing, I can’t wait to read more.
Unearthly is unique in that it has a different take on Angels, I’m hooked.
Once in a Full Moon – I am divorcing vampires and moving on with werewolves and this is the perfect book! (love the visual of the bare trees behind the text at the beginning of each chapter.)
Desires of the Dead – Violet’s gift is helping the dead to find closure. It’s going on my must read list.
I’m a sucker for a good YA book.
