Review:
Cordelia and Mer are really fun to read about. I truly enjoyed the first book of the series! While it’s definitely not a YA novel, readers of all ages will enjoy this book. I’m serious! I should be embarrassed to say that I truly enjoyed this novel, but it’s just too good to say that.
The character development is impressive as well. As the story develops, Cordelia and Mer become braver and stronger and even more lovable, if that’s possible. As a huge critic of character development, my praise truly shows the skill of the author.
As for the plot, it’s not always the most original, but going through the Witchdom is always exciting. The Witches of Ice are a formidable force, but of course Cordelia and Mer are way better!
