 Review:

This book had such an intriguing premise.  Cassidy is a vampire who was beguiled into becoming one by Ash.  When she discovers his deception, she flees into the arms of Daniel and a lover’s triangle is formed.  Their tale unfolds in a series of past/present entries from each of the character’s points of view.

The passion and heat between the lovers was what was missing for me in this tale.  Cassidy seems to have deep feelings for both of them in the book but the love scenes seemed almost forced and maybe a bit rushed.  She is forced to make a decision between the two at the end of the book and the result is quite surprising.

The next in the series is called “Celtic Knowledge” and I will read it because the ending of this one had me curious to see where Ms. Elliott decides to take her readers.

This was a quick read but worth the time to check out.  I am hoping to see more character and writer development further on in this series.
