Review:
Nice style of writing and an interesting story. There is a creepy darkness to this tale that continues throughout.
The characters were difficult to connect with, other than to see what was going to happen to them. They came across as immature and self centered. Not my kind of folks. I could not understand WHY??? they didn’t go to the hospital to see a doctor?????
While the writer induces shivering anxiety about what is happening and going to happen next, the story doesn’t really have an ending. I think there were undertones that I just wasn’t able to catch.
I do recommend this short story to adults who want to read great writing, but don’t expect a complete idea at the end.
