Some girls over at examiner bring us some pretty bad news, well bad for those of you who where planning on going to the New Jersey Twilight Convention. What possibly could be going on?
This bites for New Jersey Twilight fans. The official Twilight Convention in Parsippany was scheduled to have Twilight actors Kellan Lutz and Ashley Greene appear. Now the duo has had to pull out of their commitment due to other commitments, most likely involving their participation on the set of their latest movie, Eclipse.
Disappointed fans will receive a refund fromCreation Entertainmentonly if they have special tickets that allowed the ticketholder to get an autograph or photos with the stars. Otherwise, fans will have to make do with the other guests attending, like director Catherine Hardwicke, Justin Chon, and Alex Meraz. It still promises to be a fun event, despite the absence of Lutz and Greene
Ughh! That Royally blows! But what I want to know is why would they schedule a Convention and advertise it when they know those actors are going to be filming? How long have we know that Eclipse would start filming months after New Moon was done? A while!
Would you still go even if your favorite star wasn’t going to be there? Where any of you planning on atending this event?
I am flying out tomorrow to go to TwiTour in Parsippany and yes, if I'm spending that much money, I'm going whether the stars are there or not. There will still be plenty of experiences that I will get to have, including: meeting other cast members, meeting friends that until now have been purely virtual, and getting to spend time with other family and friends that I don't get to see often. Sounds like a good time to me :o)
