Anna Paquin to Present at College Television Awards via wetpaint
Anna Paquin is busy filming the fifth season of True Blood, but she’ll make a rare appearance at the 33rd Annual College Television Awards on March 31.
She’ll be presenting one of the awards, presented by the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences Foundation to honor video, digital and film productions produced by college students.
Mark-Paul Gosselaar and Breckin Meyer will host, while other presents include Sandra Oh, Ariel Winter, Cat Deeley, Rex Lee, Scott Porter, and Jason Isaacs.
HBO Season 5 episode 7 spoilers via hwhills
HBO revealed new True Blood season 5,episode 7 spoilers. Recently, Trueblood-news got their hands on some casting calls HBO put out for their upcoming True Blood season 5,episode 7,and they contain some spoiler teasers that we can expect to see go down. Currently,the episode doesn’t have a title.
First up,there’s going to be a BLACK OPS VAMP character,showing up,who’s late 20s to early 30 yrs old. The Black Ops vampire is going to be involved in a mission to capture a prisoner. Next, is TYRESE,who’s a beer-drinking, pizza-loving African-American man in his late 20s. He’s another member of the trashy, low-rent anti-vampire hate group,and is possibly recurring.
REVEREND SKINNER is a Male,who’s 40 to 50 yrs old. He’s seen on video, performing a marriage ceremony. SWEETIE is a white female,who’s about 30 yrs old. She’s a large woman,who’s having a noontime romance with an older married man. Unfortunately,she may be recurring,ugh.
BRIDE-TO-BE is a white 20 yr old Female who’s a bride-to-be at a big Southern wedding. She attends a karaoke party after the rehearsal dinner, and sings, “You Light Up My Life” to her groom, until she’s interrupted.
GROOM’S MOTHER is another white chick who’s in her mid to late 40s. She is the mother of the groom, and also attends the karaoke party after the wedding rehearsal, and recognizes an uninvited guest.
Finally,we have the SECURITY GUARD,who’s in charge of protection. He announces an unexpected visitor, and later snaps into almost-action, awaiting orders. That’s it for now guys,but stay tuned. Season 5 debuts in June,
Alexander Skarsgard and Charlize Theron Couple Alert! via monsters and critics
“True Blood” actor Alexander Skarsg�rd and Oscar winning actress Charlize Theron are rumored to be an item.
The National Enquirer (through Celebitchy.com/) print edition claims the two are using a Los Angeles gay bar to meet and have drinks.
According to the Enquirer reports that Alexander, 35, and Charlize Theron, 36, were spotted at the Gym Sportsbar, a gay nightspot in West Hollywood.
From the Enquirer:
�They ordered two beers and went to sit on the patio…I realized it was Charlize and her date was Alexander Skarsgard. It was clear they were a couple, holding hands and staring into each other�s eyes. People said hello, and they were really nice. After about 45 minutes, they left with their arms around each other and drove off in the same car.�
More anonymous Enquirer sources said: Charlize was �crazy for Alexander, and he�s nuts about her…They�ve both been through some bad breakups and want to keep the romance to themselves for the time being. They figured no one would notice them at a gay bar.�
True Blood Cookbook hits shelves Fall 2012 via The Daily Meal
It’s official: Chronicle Books and HBO are publishing The True Blood Cookbook this fall, written by series creator Alan Ball along with with Karen Sommer Shallett and Marcelle Bienvenu.
According to Publishers Weekly, “The book will include photos, side stories, and authentic Southern recipes for the local fare of the show’s Bon Temps locale.”
Eater has the full press release, with Ball claiming that, “This book will be substantial, with recipes that capture the unique ambiance, dark humor, and complexity of characters that make up the magical and offbeat world of True Blood. In other words, it will be a worthy of ‘Trubies’ everywhere.”
This is a total gimmick, but I would so buy it because it does sound cool!
