Alexander Skarsgard talks about upcoming Bromance

There’s a bit of a vampire bromance coming with “True Blood” Season 5, as Bill Compton and Eric Northman find themselves teaming up.
“That’s what it is — it’s a bromance,” Alexander Skarsgard (Eric Northman) told Access Hollywood on the red carpet at the “True Blood” premiere in Los Angeles on Wednesday. “It’s been a lot of fun doing that because there’s kind of been like four years of us butting heads, fighting over Sookie and [Stephen Moyer, who plays Bill Compton,] is one of my best friends, so it’s fun to actually get to have fun together… and to do something different and something new.”
Still, the bromance won’t happen immediately, Alex said.
“I think it’s weird for Eric in the beginning, because he doesn’t really like Bill that much,” the actor explained. “He doesn’t hate him, but he doesn’t’ really care much about him, so it’s weird that he’s suddenly cares about this guy, like, ‘What?’”

Did you hear that? True Blood PREMIERE!!! When they first released the new season would start airing June 10th it seemed so far away and now it’s actually 9 days away!! I can’t hardly wait!!
And I have to say Eric and Bill being friendly was something I never expected to see….it shows just how different the books and the show can be, I guess. I mean they tolerated one another in the books, but definitely were never friends. But I guess it’s bound to happen if they truly won’t be fighting over Sookie anymore, which I still have major doubts about. But I guess time will tell….
