Alexander Skarsgard to play ‘Fifty Shades of Grey’ role?
Alexander Skarsgard is tall, blond and handsome and the latest name fans are rallying behind in the hopes he’ll play the title character when “Fifty Shades of Grey” makes the leap from novel to big screen feature.
The “Battleship” star had not heard of the book when he sat down to talk about his new action sci-fi film at the junket in Hawaii over the weekend, but after Access Hollywood’s Shaun Robinson informed him about the erotic role, Alexander laughed.
“Where do I sign?” the “True Blood” hunk smiled.
Shaun made sure to prep Alexander on many facets of the character, created by E. L. James….
“He’s got a sex chamber? My character has that on ‘True Blood.’ He’s got his little dungeon,” Alexander said, referring to vampire Eric Northman.
“I was born to play that part,” he added with a grin, of Christian. (Via the Clicker on Today)
MmmMmmMmm I sure do love me some Alexander!!! Get him shirtless and I could watch him all day…Imagine how long I could watch him minus other articles of clothing!! With Last year’s season of True Blood not living up to my expectations, he was the one thing that kept me watching.
I’m one of the few people I know that hasn’t read the Fifty Shades series by E. L. James and I have been undecided about whether I ever would. But I must admit that if Alexander is starring in the movie, I just might have to check the book out or maybe just watch the movie since if I read the book first, I usually hate the movie. Either way, I’d definitely tune into the movie to get a glimpse of my favorite viking vampire. Although right now it sounds like it’s just fans dreams to have him cast and nothing official saying he will be.
