Maggie Q joins the cast of Priest:
Best known as the evil villainess opposing Brice Willis in “Live Free or Die Hard,” Hawaiian-born actress Maggie Q has been announced to co-star alongside Paul Bettany in an upcoming adaptation of Hyung Min-Woo’s dark western comic series, “Priest.”
Reported by THR, while Q’s role in the film is still under wraps, the 30 year-old actress is likely to be cast as “Lizzie,” the head of a murderous gang of outlaws who eventually sides against the main character, Ivan Isaacs (Bettany), the titular warrior priest battling against vampires who have kidnapped his niece.
The film, produced by Sony’s Screen Gems, has already been given an August 13, 2010 release date.
Paul Bettany is an amazing actor. I don’t know much about Maggie Q but she’s gorgeous. I’ve heard a lot about Priest lately. Although it’s comic and I am not much into comics, it sounds like the film could be good. The cast so far seems great.
