Final Eclipse Trailer Releases This Friday
You read that right, folks — Summit Entertainment will be releasing the second and final trailer for The Twilight Saga: Eclipse this coming Friday, on non other than The Oprah Winfrey Show.
If the last teaser trailer is anything to go by, we’re expecting 2-and-a-half minutes of Edward/Bella/Jacob love triangle angst, the Volturi vampires looking nasty, and action scenes of a werewolf variety. With the trailer releasing so soon, it can only mean that Eclipse promotion is set to blitz the Internet waves anytime now. Don’t say we didn’t warn you.
Check back on Friday to see the trailer in all its glory, complete with the mandatory shots of Taycob’s abs and RPattz’s crooked grin. SOURCE
Kristen Stewart’s Stronger Bella In Eclipse
Kristen Stewart that Bella is stronger and less tortured in latest movie Eclipse.
Eclipse is the third movie in the Twilight Saga series to be adapted for the big screen, coming just eight months after the release of New Moon.
In an interview with Entertainment Weekly the actress said: “I wasn’t as tortured as I was on New Moon. Bella really knows what she wants in Eclipse. She’s not just a dumb kid talking because she’s in love.”
The movie follows a string of mysterious killings which is gripping Seattle. Bella, whose high school graduation is fast approaching, is forced to choose between her love for vampire Edward and her friendship with werewolf Jacob.
And Stewart admits that her first kiss with co-star Taylor Lautner, who plays Jacob. was a little awkward.
“It felt really weird kissing someone else as Bella. I was like, ‘What the hell are you doing?’ It was a really strange experience – as it should have been.”
Despite not doing well when release New Moon was one of the biggest grossing movies of 2009, going on to take over $709 million at the global box office. SOURCE
The Twilight Saga: Eclipse’ Soundtrack: Who Will Make The Cut
When it comes to the “Twilight Saga,” the soudtracks are almost as anticipated as the films themselves. And with the “Eclipse” soundtrack set for release on June 8, many fans are wondering which artists made the cut.
Adam Lambert had hoped that his song “Suburban Decay” could find a home on the soundtrack. He told MTV News that it could be the perfect tune to further elaborate the love story between Bella and Jacob. “It’s a great song and I hope to perform it someday, and I think it will find a home on a soundtrack or something … maybe ‘Twilight,’ ” he said. “It just didn’t quite fit [in my album]. It’s very theatrical. … It’s very campy, and it was just a bit too campy for the album as a big picture.”
Like Lambert, Brooklyn, New York, band Care Bears on Fire would love to get their song on the soundtrack. “Oh my God! It would sound awesome,” bandmate Izzy said. “[It would sound] vampire-y, duh — or werewolf-y, depending. I’d kind of like to be vampire. I feel like that’s more our sound.”
And while these artists are hoping they’ll have their shot, Muse have already hinted that after appearances on the first two films’ soundtracks, they may take up space on the third installment as well. “It’s great to have the feeling of being a new band again in so many people’s eyes or minds … we might even do something for the third one,” drummer Dominic Howard said. Latest Twilight Eclipse Trailer reveals Kristen Stewart has a wig on: real hair chopped for another film
The shot of Kristen Stewart in one of the first trailers for the movie Twilight Eclipse has got her character Bella in a wig. You can’t help but notice how unnatural her hair looks. Instead of laying around her face, it almost looks pushed and framed.
Recently it was admitted that Kristen Stewart was using wigs as she was filming two movies back to back and wanted to chop her hair short for the Joan Jett film. So she is wearing a wig for the multi-million dollar film, Twilight Eclipse and the independent – that one is all natural.
The shot in the trailer, you can’t see the forehead or the roots as it is fluffed up and pulled too tight in the camera shot. However, it is a disappointment as her hair is definitely part of the character and was a reason people enjoyed looking at the style. SOURCE
‘The Twilight Saga: Eclipse’ clothing merchandise coming soon
It’s almost that time again . . . The Twilight Saga: Eclipse clothing merchandise is well on its way, according to WWD Fashion.
Chances are, you remember quite well when Nordstrom began its The Twilight Saga: New Moon clothing line last fall. Well, it seems the company is picking up where it left off for Eclipse and has plans to release its new Twilight line on May 15th.
Beginning May 15, Nordstrom will again sell exclusive lace trim tops, miniskirts, striped and floral dresses, skinny jeans, cardigans and plaid jackets, in the style of protagonists Bella and Alice, and priced from $30 to $58, on nordstrom.com/eclipse. Beginning June 4, the collection will be sold at Nordstrom stores as well as online.
Additionally, the site reports, Nordstrom will be re-introducing the Twilight Takeover Parties it had last year with New Moon, and it’ll also be a vendor for Eclipse character cutouts and Twilight Lip Venom.
Nordstrom’s New Moon page is still up with merchandise from that line if you’re interested.
Wonder which characters will be added the cutout line. Surely Bella, Edward, and Jacob will be re-vamped for the line, but will any new characters like Leah, Seth, or Riley? We’ll have to wait and see! SOURCE
