Review:

Fun and Easy Crafting with Recycled Materials is definitely a fun book of activities to do with kids and grown ups! The jars and bottles section has several good ideas that I can see myself doing for office decorations.

The book gives the parent, or reader, a list of items that can easily be found around the house to save for future projects, such as jars, bottles, milk and egg cartons, and more. Apart from showing you the basics it also gives you a guide of safety tips to keep in mind. It also comes with several templates of figures one might need at the back of the book.

The chapters are divided by type of materials and each activity comes with a material list, tips, directions, and step-by-step photographs for visuals. Crafts are colorful and easy for kids to make. It has activities for the cutest paper roll turkeys and egg carton penguins I have ever seen!

As a person that likes painting, I was really eager to do the Smell and Silly Face jars :). I have a lot of tissue paper and put it to use doing some Luminaire jars. My next project is the Dinosaur Terrarium.

If you enjoy fun and easy crafting ideas to do with your kids, with friends or on your own, this is a good book to get. Most of the materials are easily found around the house and you’ll keep kids entertained!
