TWILIGHT SAGA NEWS JULY 26TH: KRISTEN STEWART, ROBERT PATTINSON, BRYCE DALLAS HOWARD & MORE

Twilight’s Bryce Dallas Howard: Rachelle Lefevre did an “exquisite job”

Bryce Dallas Howard, who plays vengeful vampire Victoria in The Twilight Saga: Eclipse, has paid a huge compliment to her predecessor Rachelle Lefevre, saying that she did an “exquisite job” in the role.

“I just feel really, really grateful that I’ve been really embraced by the cast and I just want to do my best. Honestly what it feels like to me, starting out as a fan and now being a part of it, I feel a huge responsibility to do my best.” Bryce said.

“Also because this character was created by Rachelle and she was beautiful, she is beautiful, and powerful, and just such did such an exquisite job, so I want to honour the very strong impact that she made on audiences through this character,” she added.

Teens obsessed with ‘Twilight’ series want fangs, some parents agree – is it safe?

Most kids, including teens, hate going to the dentist. They avoid it at all cost. So why are teenagers suddenly begging their parents to take them to the dentist?

When the third Twilight film came out, teens across the U.S. who were obsessed with the series begged their parents to take them to the dentist so they could have their canine teeth altered into fangs.

Some parents have relented and have agreed to take their teens to the dentist to have a plastic-like substance called composite inserted to mold long, sharp, fang-like teeth.

While some think the procedure is safe others believe it can harm the patient’s bite. Dr. Jana Harrison of Plano, Texas, said the procedure can result in pain, headaches, and an array of other problems.

“When you put something large like a bonded composite, it gets in the way of the bite. You can’t easily slide it up and over. You really have to strain your muscles to get up and over it,” Dr. Harrison said.

Robert Pattinson’s weekend paparazzi run-in

Robert Pattinson spent part of his weekend attempting to avoid the paparazzi, and failing miserably.  The Twilight star was followed in Venice and Malibu, with the photographers waiting outside while he tried to enjoy his day off.

At the end of the evening, Robert seemed to get fed up, asking to be left alone.  The paparazzi persisted, asking questions like, “Did you have a fun day at the beach?”

Robert finally confronted the photographers, saying “I mean, seriously, just look at yourselves for a second.  You’ve got a million pictures.”  He asked them to leave before him, allowing him to go home without having to worry about being followed.  Robert is said to have waited for about 45 minutes for the paparazzi to leave, to no avail.

Michael Sheen on ‘Elric’, ‘The Raven’, ‘Breaking Dawn’ and ‘TRON: Legacy’

If you’ve loved Michael Sheen’s work in projects like Underworld, Alice in Wonderland and The Twilight Saga, you might be delighted to know that the versatile Welsh actor is as much a genre fan as any of us. In fact, I caught Sheen on the convention floor of Comic-Con this weekend, in the fantasy illustrators’ pavilion, where I overheard him telling Elric artist John Picacio that he’s developing a movie about Michael Moorcock’s famed sword-and-sorcery character with the Weitz brothers. (Chris Weitz, you’ll recall, directed Sheen in The Twilight Saga: New Moon.)

As for the fate of his Twilight character in Breaking Dawn, Sheen remarked, “Well, there’s no secret, because there’s a book out, so you just have to read the book to find out what happens. But it’s still early days really. There’s no script and nothing’s been set up definitely yet. I’m hoping it’ll all work out.”
