ASHLEY GREENE LOVED PLANNING “BREAKING DAWN” WEDDING

Ashley Greene recently participated in a “Twitterview” for DonateMyDress.org and answered fan-submitted questions via her Twitter account.  She answered fan questions about the movies and playing the pixie vampire, Alice Cullen.

Q.  Which part of the Twilight books and movies do you like most and why?

A.  I like the part where Alice is planning the wedding with Bella. I love to plan parties and I collaborated on my dress!

Q.  Do you identify with the Alice’s character in Twilight? If so, why?

A.  Definitely. The biggest reason is the intense love she has for her family and the second is her love of all things fashion.

STEVIE NICKS NEW ALBUM FEATURES SONGS INSPIRED BY “TWILIGHT”

Rock legend Stevie Nicks has a new album coming out in May and it features music inspired by “The Twilight Saga: New Moon”.  In a Spinner.com interview, Nicks said:

“I had written a song in Brisbane, Australia when I was on tour with Fleetwood Mac in 2009 called ‘Moonlight — A Vampire’s Dream’ which was inspired by the ‘New Moon’ film,” she said. “When I finished writing that song, which came together really quickly, I knew the time was right to start recording.”

In an interesting twist for the artist who has faced rumors for years of practicing witchcraft, the video trailer for the album features her with a group of vampires in a forest setting and also in an ocean beach setting.

 INTERVIEW WITH TINSEL KOREY

The wolf pack’s Tinsel Korey recently sat down for an interview with Ology.com and talked about her music and working on “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn”.  Here’s a little bit of what she had to say:

So how is Breaking Dawn coming along? How was filming this time around?

It was a lot different. It was a much bigger production than the other ones were. The cast was just massive. I think they have like 60 new vampires. So the feeling of a closer production, it didn’t feel that way because it was just so massive. But Bill Condon, the director, is really, really sweet. He takes his time to introduce himself to everybody, get acquainted and get a feel for the scenes and everything like that. So that was a really big delight this time.

That’s good. So what’s it like working with Taylor Lautner?

I don’t get to see Taylor outside filming. You know, he came up and said, “Hi,” and he’s really sweet. Obviously, he has way more fans than any of us. He’s constantly dealing with paparazzi and fans and stuff like that. So he’s kind of separate than the rest of the wolfpack. We don’t get as much attention as he does. It’s just hard for him to go out without getting recognized. We get to hang out a bit during filming, but after that we don’t really get to see him that much. But he’s really nice.

ROBERT PATTINSON LIKES “THE HUNGER GAMES” BUT HATES COLORED CONTACTS

In an interview with Entertainment Weekly as a part of the press work for “Water for Elephants”, Robert Pattinson talked briefly about his work with “The Twilight Saga”, including a question about the frenzy surrounding the casting for “The Hunger Games” and it’s comparisons to “Twilight”.

“There’s been a lot of Twilight-like excitement about the casting of The Hunger Games. Do you find it amusing? Do you know the books?”

“I sort of came across it last year, and didn’t realize it was the most enormous thing in the world. It’s good! It will be a good movie.”

Rob also talked about the colored contacts that he wears for his role as a vampire and told the magazine that it takes two people to hold him down to get them in.  He told the magazine:

“My God, I’ll be glad to see the last of those. I actually want to get some kind of plastic explosive. I want to reanimate them into something so I can kill them.

“It’s so embarrassing for me after so many years. It’s still a process every single morning. Everybody else has figured out how to do it, and then there’s two people holding me down because I can’t do it myself.”

The Entertainment Weekly issue featuring the full article is on newsstands now with Rob and his “Water for Elephants” co-star Reese Witherspoon on the cover.

I highly encourage everyone to watch the Quileute video.  It is so eye-opening as to what life in La Push is like for the people who live on the reservation.  It’s quite different from the movie portrayal of the community and to see the eminent threat that they live under is mindblowing.  I could not imagine sending my children to that school and letting them out of my sight with that looming threat.  I hope that Washington can work things out to help them relocate to higher ground and help to restore some of their lands.  I was flabbergasted to learn that they basically have one square mile in which they all live.  Again, it’s a must-see!

What did you think of Stevie Nicks saying that she was inspired by “New Moon”?  She has always been so amazingly cool and I love that she isn’t afraid to admit that a “teenage vampire love story” was the inspiration for one of her songs.  I do love the irony of her focus on vampires when it has been rumored for most of her career that she was a witch.  I remember growing up hearing that rumor and now she’s rocking out to vampires!
