I know what you’re thinking. Oh, it’s Twilight. Wait, it’s Twilight! No, don’t do this to me, Valerie! I want to enjoy the covers, not cringe and die…
Yeah, sorry guys. But Twilight’s a classic! (A classic that I’ve ignored for almost five years, but still. There are a total of 160 editions on Goodreads!)
No summary needed.
Like I said, classic. Apple, pale arms, silver script? Best classic cover ever!
Cute, I guess. However, where did Bella randomly get blonde hair, and is her hair really that long? It reminds me of Rapunzel for some reason.
This is Bella, right? Okay, other than the fact that she’s a statue and that this looks like someone from a hundred years ago, it’s a passable cover.
Bella, could I please have your eyes? I don’t care if it looks like you have a tree Mohawk or if this cover isn’t my style. You’re gorgeous, darling, and I’d love to look like you.
I’m feeling very confused by whose arm belongs to who, and it’s kind of embarrassing.
However, I do realize this style of drawing reminds me of the Invention of Hugo Cabret. Yeah, so much for being knowledgable…
Now this is the real deal! Edward looks pretty good, Bella looks amazing, and I love the Japanese connecting them. It’s such a bold color and font. Man, this is a perfect cover. Too bad I can’t read Japanese……
So, that wasn’t that bad, was it? I mean, come on, it’s just Twilight. (yeah, it’s never going to be just Twilight!)
