VAMPIRES DIARIES CASTS TALKS SEASON 2

At Comic-Con earlier this weekend, the crew of the CW’s Vampire Diaries revealed some upcomingnews about the second season of the show.

While many questions were answered with an “I’m not going to say” or a “possibly,” executive producers Kevin Williamson and Julie Plec did give away a few spoilers. A teaser was shown of the season 2 premiere, which had finished shooting the day before.

In regards to future plot points, Williamson said that, “Katherine and Stefan [do] come face to face [in the first episode back].” Additionally, more of Katherine’s backstory will be revealed in the upcoming season.

SIMON PEGG’S LESSONS ABOUT ZOMBIES


The Walking Dead star Andrew Lincoln has revealed that Simon Pegg gave him lessons on zombie lore while he was filming the AMC drama.
Lincoln plays police officer Rick Grimes in the show, which is adapted from the Image Comics series by writer Robert Kirkman.
He explained to SFX that Shaun of the Dead star Pegg had been teaching him about the ways of the undead. “I met Simon Pegg and [he] gave me a primer in zombie lore,” said Lincoln. “Zombies represent our fear of death.”

I am excited for more backstory on Katherine. She is an interesting character and I’d like to see more dramatic acting from Nina that this character can allow her to show. I find Elena a bit one dimensional so far. What are your thoughts?
