TRUE BLOOD SEASON THREE EPISODE DESCRIPTIONS

We all know waiting for the June 13th Season Three premiere of HBO’s True Blood sucks, and to help ease the pain, we have brief descriptions of Episodes 1-3 (aka 25-27). If you’re the type who avoids spoilers, then you’ll want to proceed reading at your own risk.

First an overview courtesy of Spoiler TV:

With the assistance (and often hindrance) of locals – including her newly inspired brother Jason (Ryan Kwanten), shape-shifting boss Sam Merlotte (Sam Trammell), in-mourning pal Tara Thornton (Rutina Wesley), Tara’s vamp-linked cousin Lafayette (Nelsan Ellis), on-the-wagon detective Andy Bellefleur (Chris Bauer), vampire sheriff Eric Northman (Alexander Skarsgård), and teen vamp Jessica (Deborah Ann Woll) – Sookie desperately tries to locate her fiancé as Season Three opens, ending up in a netherworld of human and undead interlopers, among them the Vampire King of Mississippi, Russell Edgington (Denis O’Hare), and his followers, a pack of vicious werewolves who feed on vampire blood.

Episode #25: “Bad Blood”:
Sookie turns to Eric for help finding Bill; Andy urges Jason to stay the course; Sam reconnects with his past; Tara seeks refuge from her grief. (Written by Brian Buckner; directed by Daniel Minahan.)

I think Jeremy feels extremely betrayed by his sister, hence the cold attitude. I don’t see him softening up to her apologies any time soon. What are your thoughts?

Without the flirting between Elena and Damon, the show would be missing something. I’d like to see a fall out between Elena and Stefan, so Damon could makes some moves on her.

Looks like Season 3 starts off where ‘Club Dead’ begins in the Sookie Stackhouse novels. Yey!  Frankly I don’t care what they cover, I just want the show to return already. Before you know it’ll be September and we’ll be in the same position and waiting on Season 4, with this unhealthy True Blood obsession.  I know I’m being  a Debbie Downer, but I wish we were in the 80’s where show season lasted at least 6 months. Remember that?  Or did it just seem like they lasted longer?

Regardless…it can’t come soon enough.
