Review:

What an adorable book. There’s a Monster in Your Book is the perfect foil for that nasty monster that sometimes lurks under the bed of a child. Not only is this monster a cutie, but it is in your book. It does not matter if this is a book you read to your younger child or it is a first reader book for a child that is scared of things that go bump in the night, this book will help that youngster be ready to crawl in bed and go to sleep. The child is asked to shake the book, turn it over, do whatever to get this adorable monster out of the book.

The illustrations are adorable and colorful and full of fun. The story, while short, is just the right length for a very young child at bedtime. The ending is assured to help any child be sure that monster is not under the bed. I thought this was one seriously cute children’s story. Finding out that the author is also in a musical group was a surprise. Have fun with your child with There’s a Monster in Your Book. This could be the answer to any of those old fears of that monster under the bed.
