There is still no official word as to when Twilight Series ‘Breaking Dawn’ will actually begin filming, but according to sources, Taylor Lautner is contracted to start another project that must be completed by August, due to Lautner’s need to start filming ‘Breaking Dawn’ the same month.
We just have to wait and see if this news is indeed true.

TAYLOR LAUTNER NOW RUMORED TO BE IN THE MIX FOR SPIDERMAN 4
from reelzchannel.com:A whole lot of the buzz has been suggesting that ultra-hot Twilight Saga star Robert Pattinson might be up for the part. But IESB ran down those rumors and is now saying “with absolute certainty” that Pattinson is not in the running. Besides, the reboot is expected to take our hero back to high school, and at 23 Pattinson is viewed as a bit “too old” for that role.
A much stronger possibility is fellow Twilight actor Taylor Lautner. At 17, he is the right age, and he certainly is buff enough for the role. Better still, IESB reports that he has, in fact, had a meeting with Spider-Man producers. The problem, of course, is that we have absolutely no idea what they were talking about. There are other roles he could play, and with a number of potential sequels in mind, there is good reason for thinking that the studio might instead want to cast a relative unknown in the role.

TWILIGHT SERIES OFFERS LESSONS WORTH SHARING
from courierpress.com:A year and a half ago, I read an article from the Center for Parent/Youth Understanding (cpyu.org) about a fiction series that was extremely popular with preteens and teens. So, I sat down and read the four-book “Twilight” series by Stephenie Meyer.
Laundry and dirty dishes piled up, but I read the series in a little over a week. The story follows the love relationship between Bella Swan, a human, and Edward Cullen, a vampire.
I realized these books contain lessons we can share with our children. The lessons concern the following topics:
Loyalty: Edward andBella show immense loyalty to each other. The loyalty of their families and friends is intertwined throughout the series.
Young people are struggling with many relationship choices as they mature. Peers, family, and mentors all influence their growth.
While loyalty is highly valued in the adult world, it is essential for healthy youth development. Youth need to know they have people they can trust.
Healthy choices: Edward and Bella refrain from sexual activity until they are married.
As youth are finding their way in the world, they may find it difficult to make the best decisions. We must be honest with our youth about alcohol, drugs, sex, and the consequences that can result from their choices.
Putting others first: The “Twilight” series portrays self-sacrificing love between the main two characters. Edward and Bella constantly strive to put the other’s needs above their own.
In an age where people are often focused on themselves, it’s refreshing to see a story of unselfish giving.
Youth can put others first in so many ways: by volunteering for community events, participating in their faith organizations or even by pitching in more at home.
ROBERT PATTINSON TO JOIN TELETHON FOR HAITI EARTHQUAKE RELIEF
Robert Pattinson will join a host of celebrities this Friday night as he takes part in Hope for Haiti, a telethon hosted by George Clooney to raise money for the devastated Caribbean nation. The telethon will air on all major networks on Friday, January 22. The Hollywood Gossip is reporting that Robert may be the sole presenter from London, possibly introducing performances by Jay-Z and Bono.
Will you be checking out the Hope for Haiti telethon? Do you think that it matters whether Robert is one of the celebrity hosts? Will his star power actually result in more money for the telethon?
In regards to the article from the Courier Press…At last! An article that takes an objective look at the positive messages found within the Twilight Saga books without trashing it for supposed anti-feminist or allegedly racist messages. There are so many redeeming qualities to these books that you have to look at the entire thing without getting fixated on one thing from the books that gets under your skin. While we may not all agree on the choices made by the characters in the books, the author of this article is right in that even ‘the perfect guy’ is far from perfect and that we just have to find a way to live with the hand we’re dealt in this life or we’ll have a pretty miserable existence otherwise.
Taylor as Peter Parker? It’s much easier to envision than Rob. I think that he’s too much of a big name for the role and that people won’t accept him as Peter Parker/Spidey. I think that they need to go outside of “who’s hot” and find someone and make this their breakout role.

Hordes of zombie books attack!
www.fangoria.com:If there’s one thing we’ve learned over the years, it’s that zombies are hard to kill. And with the abundance of undead books hitting the shelves this fall and winter, it seems the incredibly popular vampire trend still hasn’t put the bullet in all those flesheating brains. From short-story collections to records of infection to silly survival guides to even some Christmas cheer, the undead have been popping up everywhere on the page; here’s a rundown of some ghoulish literature to feast your eyes upon this season:
To aid readers in surviving an undead apocalypse, Ulysses Press has released THE ZOMBIE HANDBOOK by Rob Sacchetto. In the vein of Brooks’ THE ZOMBIE SURVIVAL GUIDE and the like, Sacchetto meticulously and humorously lays out a manual teaching you all there is to know about the flesheaters and how to deal with them. In addition to witty survival tips, Sacchetto has filled THE ZOMBIE HANDBOOK with diagrams and illustrated examples of all his major points.

Debut Vampire Novel “Emery” Releases Exclusively With Amazon On Friday The 13th
www.prweb.com:Shonnovan Mitchell’s debut novel “Emery” is available Friday the 13th at Amazon, published by upstart independent Trilogus Media Group in Arizona. The novel portrays teenager Tabitha Avery as she moves to a small town in Montana and becomes the love-interest of Emery, the loner student body president. Tabitha learns that the town is a haven for vampires, and that his lust for her may be more than even he can resist. She doesn’t want to become like him, but struggles with a way to refuse.
There’s a new wrinkle in the book promotion: a chance to help the author cast the movie. Many readers like to “fantasy cast” the books they read, picking film and TV stars for the roles. The publisher and author have partnered with Storycasting.com to make “Emery” available for casting at http://bit.ly/Cast_Emery. The publisher can’t promise who Hollywood will choose, but the author has posted a “cast” that includes Aussie actor Travis Fimmel in the title role. Storycasting.com is free and non-spamming.
