TRUE BLOOD FAN AT CHARLAINE HARRIS BOOK SIGNING IN NEW ORLEANS
Going to a Charlaine Harris book signing was a blast. And what better time and place than on Halloween afternoon just outside the French Quarter? It was a great experience and I’m thrilled to share it with The Vault.

The location was The Garden District Book Store. We arrived at the store around 12:30, with a good amount of people already there. The atmosphere was pretty fun and was a great way to mingle with the fans of the books, and there were actually quite a few people who were fans of the True Blood and just wanted to meet the person who started it all. It was a great mix of people.

TRUE BLOOD SEASON 3 SPOILER: BON TEMPS HAPPENING
It seems the True Blood Season 3 spoilers are going to be starting to trickle out on a regular basis from now and one of the latest ones coming out is regarding our favorite red-headed waitress, Arlene Fowler (Carrie Preston) and our post-traumatic stress vet, Terry Bellefleur (Todd Lowe). It seems that all that Maryann spell- induced orgies have caused a little dilemma for Arlene and Terry. According to TVGuide.com, there is the possibility that all that hanky-panky may lead to the pitter-patter of little feet for the two. TV Guide got this little scoop from Alan Ball directly:

I love it when I see my boys from Deadwood in other shows (as you can imagine, due to that talent level it happens quite a bit). THR is reporting that John Hawkes (Sol Star in HBO’s Deadwood) will be appearing in the final season of Lost as a character named ‘Lennon’.

All we know about Lennon is that he’s described as:
scruffy, edgy and charismatic spokesperson and translator for the president of a foreign corporation who is far more powerful than it seems from his position.
Do you watch Lost?
What do you think of the addition of Hawkes to the Lost cast?

tv.ign.com: BEING HUMAN EPISODE ONE REVIEW
Author: Nikki | Filed under: News Blog, Reviews, TV Show NewsMixing the mythic with the commonplace, the farcical with the horrific and the domestic with the epic, this BBC AMERICA co-production is a witty and extraordinary look into the lives of three twenty-somethings and their secret double-lives – as a werewolf, a vampire and a ghost. The trio do their best to live their lives as normally as possible, despite their strange and dark secrets. But with unwelcome intruders into their world, a threatened revolution from the vampire underworld and constant threats of exposure – on top of the day-to-day issues faced by young people – the only thing they may be able to rely on in their heightened world, is each other.

Being Human is a refreshing supernatural drama that follows the lives of three unlikely souls (or lack thereof) who have come together to cope with their unusual lives. Together they try to fit in with the world around them and attempt to be and act as human as possible. Fitting in with the rest of us is more difficult than it would appear though and that is what makes this series so intriguing. Watching these characters struggle and fight to maintain some semblance of humanity in their lives is what drives this fascinating story.
Get to know the characters here.
Being Human: “Episode One” does a great job of setting the stage and giving us a glimpse of this fascinating universe. No small feat since this had to act as a second introduction in lieu of the initial Pilot that featured different actors in the lead roles (save for Tovey who returns as George Sands). Each character’s fight to maintain some semblance of humanity is interwoven with what looks to be a captivating mythology. This gives Toby Whithouse and crew the opportunity to tell the very personal stories of these characters but maintain an overarching narrative at the same time. They’re definitely off to a great start and have already presented us with a very intriguing universe that will be sure to have us tuning in over the next few weeks.
I have heard of this show, but wasn’t sure I wanted to get into watching another show regularly. Now that I have read more about it though, it really sounds fascinating and kinda cool. Plus, This Mitchell guy is a hottie!

thr.com: HARRY POTTER & VAMP DIARIES COMING TO BRIT TV!
Author: Nikki | Filed under: Movie News, News BlogVampires and wizards account for two big properties in a wide-ranging content deal struck between U.K. commercial broadcaster ITV and Warner Bros. International Television Distribution.
The British commercial broadcaster has staked U.K. rights to the series “The Vampire Diaries,” as well as conjuring up “Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix” and “a substantial number of additional theatrical motion pictures,” the parties said Thursday.
Based on the book series by L. J. Smith, “The Vampires Diaries” is a romantic drama from Kevin Williamson in which two vampire brothers — one good, one evil — are at war for the soul of a high school girl and the souls of her friends and family. The series will be a focal point of ITV’s schedule in 2010, the broadcaster said.

I gotta admit…I am not sold on the actors chosen for Vamp Diaries. First off, isnt Elena blond? And I am SO not feeling this Chace kid…too metrosexual for a brooding, hot Italian dude that is hundreds of years old, right?
Are you a Vamp Diaries fan? What do you think of the actor’s chosen for the roles on Vamp Diaries?
Do you think this will be a good show or a dud? Will it make it past the dreaded Season One?
