ROBERT PATTINSON ON 3-D, TWO-PART “BREAKING DAWN”
MTV.com caught up with Robert Pattinson while promoting his upcoming film, “Remember Me,” and asked him about his thoughts on the rumors of “Breaking Dawn” being split into two films and the possibility of the movie(s) being shot in 3-D.
While promoting his upcoming film “Remember Me,” leading man Robert Pattinson said he still doesn’t know whether “Breaking Dawn” will be made as one film or two. As to his preference, Pattinson answered that “it really just depends on the script, either way.”
Pattinson also addressed the rumors about “Breaking Dawn” being filmed in 3-D and, as Stewart indicated in an interview for “The Yellow Handkerchief,” was against the idea.
“The 3-D thing confuses me,” Pattinson said. “I haven’t seen ‘Avatar’ or any of these 3-D movie things yet. The idea of it … I remember 3-D movies from when I was a kid, and I can just picture it giving me a headache.”

TAYLOR LAUTNER’S ABS IN PHOTOSHOP SCANDAL
It’s not uncommon for Taylor Lautner’s abs to be fodder for news, but now they seem to be heating up the blogosphere because of a fanmade poster for “New Moon” where a male underwear model’s abs were used in conjunction with Taylor Lautner’s face and other “Jacob” features. The scandal originally broke on the Photoshop Disasters website. It turns out that many believed the poster to be an official movie poster, opening the doors for many to slam on Taylor. When looking at the two photos side-by-side, it’s obvious that the Jacob poster is a fake, but that certainly doesn’t take away from the body that he sculpted to earn the role of Jacob Black.

Once again, I am so ready for Summit to make a decision on “Breaking Dawn”! I’m sure that the actors are as well. I’m all for two movies, the actors have no problem with that…let’s move along already!
I think that the Taylor ab “scandal” is pretty funny. If you saw “New Moon”, there’s no doubt that the boy has got a rockin’ set of abs and this little Photoshop issue certainly takes nothing away from the hard work that the guy did to keep the role of Jacob Black.

KRISTEN STEWART HOPES “ECLIPSE” PROPOSAL SCENE TURNED OUT WELL
Kristen Stewart recently shared her thoughts on the proposal scene from “Eclipse” with MTV.com, telling them that she hopes that it turned out well. I have to admit that this is the scene that I am most anxious to see in the movie. The next two being the tent scene and the newborn battle. Here are Kristen’s comments to MTV.com:
“Well, to decide you’re gonna marry someone at 18 is a pretty hefty decision,” she told MTV News from the red carpet of the premiere of her new movie, “The Yellow Handkerchief.” “And I didn’t want to look stupid. I didn’t want it to look like kids getting married. You know what I mean?”
Stewart said she had to find an emotional space that allowed her to make a teenage engagement seem plausible. “I wanted to be, like, ‘Oh! Wow! I would say yes too!’ You know what I mean? So I don’t know how you do that. You try to do it for real, and it felt good. I hope it turned out alright.”
“BREAKING DAWN” MAY STILL BE ONE FILM
from fandango.com:Only a few days after Deadline Hollywood reported that it was a done deal and Summit Entertainment would be filming The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn in two parts comes word that none of the main actors (Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson, Taylor Lautner) have signed on to a fifth film, and the studio is not yet ready to make a decision on whether or not they’ll be splitting up the final installment in the Twilight franchise.
One of the reasons why the studio isn’t ready is because they still haven’t made deals with Stewart, Pattinson and Lautner, according to The Hollywood Reporter. And since a fifth film wasn’t part of their original contracts – not to mention that they’re all certifiable movie stars now – in order to secure the trio, Summit will most likely have to dish out a pretty penny (I’d say upwards of $15-20 million for all three).
ROBERT PATTINSON ANSWERS QUESTIONS ABOUT “REMEMBER ME”
Robert Pattinson answers fan questions in a series of “Ask Rob” clips to promote his upcoming film, “Remember Me”. This clip features Rob’s response to a fan’s question about having a little sister in the film. “Remember Me” opens in theaters on March 12 and fans will also be treated to the first trailer from “The Twilight Saga: Eclipse.”

Robert Pattinson is slated to be a presenter at the award ceremony, but the category for which he is presenting has not been revealed.
The red carpet coverage will air on Sunday, February 21 on BBC Three at 7:30 PM (GMT) and the ceremony will air on BBC One beginning at 9:00 PM (GMT).

In this clip, Jackson Rathbone talks about how his work on “The Last Airbender” prepared him for the fight scenes as Jasper Hale in “The Twilight Saga: Eclipse”.
NSFW OR FOR KIDS – OUTTAKES FROM ROBERT PATTINSON’S DETAILS MAGAZINE PHOTO SHOOT
Once again, we issue a caution for the pictures. They aren’t for the faint of heart, workplace, or the underage. Details Magazine just posted some of the outtakes from the uber-racy Robert Pattinson photo shoot on their website. I must admit that I am particularly fond of the second one in the set. The intense look in his eyes is amazing!
I am so looking forward to seeing the “Eclipse” trailer on March 12th. I am hoping for a glimpse of the proposal scene in there. I’m sure that we’ll see some fight scenes, but I really want to see some of the “chick moments” to get a feel for how things might look in the final product. I have to admit that I’m afraid of it being too dark or to action-oriented.
Ugh! I’m so tired of the speculation on “Breaking Dawn”. I wish that they would just hurry up and decide on something. They know that the actors are willing to do two films and an overwhelming majority of the fans are up for it, so why not go for it and get the ball rolling!

Wow. Robert Pattinson’s interviews are always very interesting to me. He certainly doesn’t seem to have much of a verbal filter in place in many of them. It’s no wonder that crazy things like being “allergic to vaginas” go viral on the Internet when his interviews hit the newsstands. I think that he is certainly a rare breed among young actors. He seems to be highly intelligent to me – like scary smart. I’m glad that he has such a wonderful relationship with his family because I can’t help but worry about the guy. I’m also glad to know that it wasn’t Rob under that scarf in that Details photo because that was teetering on the edge of disturbing for me. Given what he’s said in this interview and others, I imagine that he would have been really uncomfortable with that shot.
All of the clips and new stills coming out for “Remember Me” just make me more excited for the release on March 12. I just checked Fandango, but tickets aren’t available yet. I’m still betting that Summit will have an “Eclipse” trailer for that film.
No fair…the UK version of the “New Moon” DVD gets everything on it! I really want to see the sneak-peek, but I want the Target 3-disc version…with a sneak peek! My deal-breaker is to go with the version with a free digital download.
Do any of you plan to head to Dallas for the 100 Monkeys’ show? I missed getting to see them when they played in Nashville. I’d love to catch a show sometime.

“ECLIPSE” TRAILER RUMORS ARE FALSE!
There is a rumor circulating on message boards that hit Perez Hilton’s site that a trailer for “Eclipse” will be shown in theaters before “Percy Jackson and the Olympians: The Lightning Thief”. This is just a rumor and has been debunked by GossipCop.com. There is no word yet on when the trailer will be released.

WALMART’S VERSION OF “NEW MOON” DVD WILL HAVE “ECLIPSE” EXTRAS

Distributed by Universal Studios Home Entertainment, the Summit Entertainment title will supplement nationwide distribution of a two-disc special edition hitting retailers nationwide March 20. “The Twilight Saga: New Moon Ultimate Fan Edition,” also set for release March 20, will be the only disc release of the sequel to include a seven-minute special feature about upcoming franchise threequel “The Twilight Saga: Eclipse.”
TAYLOR LAUTNER TURNS 18 TODAY!
Attention, cougars! You are now safe to lust over Taylor Lautner and his abs! Taylor Lautner is now an adult and is officially off of the jailbait roster.

A NEW JACOB BLACK DOLL
from mtv.com:The limited edition Jacob action figure, which comes a few (long-awaited!) months after Tonner debuted its Laurent, Victoria, James and “Hungry Edward” dolls during last July’s Comic-Con, will be shapeshifting released this summer. The cost of the 17-inch-tall, hard plastic and vinyl figure will be $149.99 and there are only a limited number (3000 to be exact!) being made, so Twilighters, this is a chance to own a piece of cinematic history!

ROBERT PATTINSON AND KRISTEN STEWART MAKE FORBES “TOP EARNING ON-SCREEN COUPLES” LIST
from examiner.com:Just a few days ago, The Twilight Saga: New Moon and The Twilight Saga: Eclipse stars Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart were announced as two of Vanity Fair’s “Top Moneymakers,” and, today, Forbes included the two in their list of “Hollywood’s Top-Earning On-Screen Couples.”
Of course, these figures are based upon the successes of the films in which the two appear as a couple (as opposed to Vanity Fair’s consideration of their personal salaries), but here’s what Forbes had to say about the matter.
[T]he multi-movie onslaught of Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart may prove the most powerful and profitable of all. With just two of the four expected Twilight films under their belts, their pairing raked in $1.1 billion at the box office. The third installment, Eclipse, hits theaters at the end of June.
JACKSON RATHBONE GETS ANOTHER ACTION FIGURE
from mtv.com:Nickelodeon Consumer Products debuted the upcoming line of toys based on “The Last Airbender” today, including various waves of 3 3/4-inch action figures, as well as larger, action-enabled figures, costumes and other props based on Shyamalan’s adaptation of the hit anime/manga series.
Among the toys featured in the line were (of course) figures based on the film’s hero, Aang (played by Noah Ringer), the villainous Prince Zuko (played by “Slumdog Millionaire” actor Dev Patel). Toys based on Sokka (played by “Twilight” alum Jackson Rathbone) and Katara (Nicola Peltz) also factored into several waves of figures.

Had you heard the rumor of an “Eclipse” trailer being shown this weekend? I hadn’t heard it, but I am so ready to see something. I suspect that Summit will put it in theaters with “Remember Me” since that’s one of their own films and they know that fans will be out in droves to get a Rob fix.
What do you think of the scene from “Remember Me”? It seems that Rob’s character, Tyler, is the antithesis of Edward Cullen. I think that it will be great to see him in such a different role.
I have to admit that I am growing annoyed with all of the variations of the “New Moon” DVD with all of the merchants having different extras on the discs. The seven minute feature on “Eclipse” is awfully tempting!!
I’m going to have to pass on the Jacob Black doll. I’m too far Team Edward to shell out $150 for it.
Congrats to Jackson – he now has action figures in two different fandoms.

TWILIGHT SAGA NEWS: FEBRUARY 6TH

Fans of Stephenie Meyer’s ‘Twilight Saga’ find religious themes lurk within vampires, werewolves
It’s only four books and two movies.
So what can account for the “Twilight Saga’s” almost supernatural pull on the public’s imagination? Not to mention the corresponding millions of dollars in book and box office sales?
According to some fans of the best-selling books and the box office record-breaking movies, the allure goes deeper than entertainment.
Some fans say they find religious themes in Stephenie Meyer’s hit “Twilight” series
“What elevates the ‘Twilight’ phenomenon from being merely boy-meets-girl, is that the ‘ever after’ is a lot longer because Edward (the vampire hero of the series, played by Robert Pattinson in the films) is immortal,” said Claudia Mair Burney, the author of several books, including the Exorsistah series for young adults.
“He’s a very powerful being who could destroy Bella (the teenage heroine played by Kristen Stewart in the films), but his love is so sacrificial it doesn’t remotely resemble a human relationship.”

Fan effect on ‘The Twilight Saga: New Moon’ set revealed
The Twilight Saga: New Moon’s filming process was definitely an experience for fans. “Looking into the fishbowl,” as some have called it, was what fans did throughout the entire production process, and, apparently, Twilight series fans made quite a sting on the art department’s progress – for better or for worse – in putting together the sets.
An art direction professional from New Moon and The Twilight Saga: Eclipse recounted his experience in preparing the set in December/January’s issue of Perspective.
The author described, in detail, the experience of when the house belonging to “Jacob Black” was discovered.
I was a bit surprised when a woman pushing a baby carriage trundled up and said hello. “That’s for a movie, isn’t it?” she asked. … As warmly as I could, I ducked; “Oh, you know, don’t you think someone could just get tired of green and decide to paint their place red?” She shot back, “Sure, but they wouldn’t keep painting over everything until it looked real old. It’s Jacob’s house isn’t it?” … She contended that my evasiveness — in contradiction to the evidence in the meadow — made it very likely that she had discovered a major Vancouver location for New Moon.
Jacob’s house was a key venue in Twilight Saga novels by Stephenie Meyer, but had not appeared in the first movie — so this was a big find. The fan sites were electrified. The next day another fan … posted a drive-by video of the location with her voiceover explanation of why this was surely Jacob’s place.

iPhone App Creator Helps Fans Connect With Celebrities

Feel the need to turn a cute photo of your toddler into a bloody vampire portrait?
Glastonbury’s Robert DeFranco — CEO of 211me, a celebrity iPhone applications company — has created a unique app (application software, for those older than 42) and several others for that neglected and overlooked segment of society: The celebrity.
DeFranco, a native of Sudbury, Mass., is carving out a living by dreaming up and designing celebrity-based iPhone applications to help connect actors, musicians, and athletes with their fans.
“Vampire Transformer,” which adds charming blood, red eyes and fangs to any photo on one’s iPhone, is a popular app for which thousands of fans of the “Twilight” series have paid 99 cents. DeFranco and friend Peter Facinelli of “Twilight” fame came up with the program after successfully launching their first project — a personal, customized app that allows the actor to post family videos and other exclusive content for serious fans. AGAINST THE CURRENT Movie Trailer with Joseph Fiennes
Check out the trailer for AGAINST THE CURRENT starring Joseph Fiennes, Justin Kirk, Elizabeth Reaser, Mary Tyler Moore, Michelle Trachtenberg, and directed by Peter Callahan.
Against The Current Synopsis: Against the Current is the story of Paul Thompson, (Joseph Fiennes), a man who sets out to swim the entire length of the Hudson River — all 150 miles, from Troy, NY to Manhattan. Joining Paul is his best friend since childhood, Jeff (Justin Kirk) and Liz (Elizabeth Reaser), a teacher with nothing better to do during her summer break. Together, the trio embarks upon an unusual road trip, a three-week adventure down the Hudson.
Adamant that they reach New York City by August 28, Paul keeps everyone on a tight schedule. Rain or shine, he swims, while his friends ride alongside in a boat, stopping each night to camp along the river’s edge. However, the journey soon takes a troubling turn when Paul reveals that there is more to this adventure than Jeff and Liz originally thought. Paul, who is still grieving a tragic loss, feels that after he completes this swim he will truly have nothing left to live for.
Realizing that the only way to help Paul is to continue with the swim, Jeff and Liz agree to stay on. And so with each passing stroke, a gallows humor settles over the three as they find themselves debating the finer points of jelly donuts, sex, and death. As the jokes and one-liners mix with deeper exchanges, the journey down river becomes a battle not only to save a friend, but to also discover what it is they ultimately seek inside themselves.
Both tragic and funny, Against the Current is a compelling and uncompromising exploration of sorrow and loss, one’s right to determine one’s own fate, and the limits and responsibilities of friendship.
Watch the trailer for Against The Current below.
Youtube pick of the week: a guys point of view on the Twilight saga
This week I came upon a group of videos that is the best. The people that make these videos are called HISHEdotcom also known as How It Should Have Ended. They have 24 endings to popular movies like “Avatar” and “Transformers.”
For the article I have chosen to go with the “Twilight” remake. The scene starts where Edward has to choose to either let Bella change into a vampire or suck out the venom that will change her.
This is a wake-up call to all the ladies in the world. This is how “Twilight” would have ended if a woman didn’t write it. If it was written by a man it could have gone down two different ways. It could take the Nicholas Sparks way where Edward would have turned her and lived happily ever after, or the Stephen King way where Edward wouldn’t have been able to stop and would have killed Bella.
The very end is funny also; Edward and Blade (the half vampire half human who kills vampires) are in a tree together. They are talking about how vampires can walk around during the daytime. This sparked a question in my mind, who would win, Edward or Blade? Then the winner would have to fight Buffy.
This video is how “Twilight” should have ended. It is better than the real ending, at least from a guy’s view. ‘Til next week, stay classy, Washburn.
Paramount Releases New ‘Last Airbender’ Super Bowl Trailer & It’s Hot

“The Last Airbender” movie revolves around Aang (Noah Rider) who is the lone Avatar, and has the power to manipulate all four elements of air, water, earth, and fire. The new Super Bowl trailer shows more awesome action, and special effects scenes. “The Last Airbender” movie hits theaters on July 2.

Cutting like crazy, the film is getting closer working through the weekends again, adding more EDWARD!
Do you agree with the undertone of religious themes within the Twilight Saga?
I really enjoy my Peter Facinelli, Billy Burke, and Vampire Transformer apps for my iPhone. I hope these encourage more celebs to jump on board so that the fans can really feel connected.

TWILIGHT SAGA: ECLIPSE SCRIPT LEAKED?
Author: ifellhard | Filed under: Movie News, News BlogTwilight Saga: Eclipse Script Leaked?
source: The Dish Rag
The Internet and especially Twitter was abuzz on Tuesday (Jan. 5) with word of a leaked script from the upcoming third “Twilight” movie “Eclipse.”
While The Dish Rag did easily locate a site where a pdf version of the complete script can supposedly be downloaded, we declined since who knows what sort of vampiric computer virus might come along for the ride.
However, a screenshot of the first page of the blue script (meaning it’s an early one and not likely what was shot from) has also been making the rounds and if this is the real deal, Jackson Rathbone (who plays Jasper) can expect to get a talking to from Summit very, very soon.
It appears the movie opens with Victoria (Bryce Dallas Howard) turning Riley (Xavier Samuel) into the vampire that she plans to send after Bella (Kristen Stewart).
POSSIBLE SPOILER WARNING – LINKS AND IMAGES PAST THIS POINT MAY CONTAIN SPOILERS.

What do you think? Do you think that they have the real deal or is it just another virus and a good fake?
If it is the real deal, will you try to read it or will you wait for the movie to come out?
