Kristen Stewart Talks Pregnancy & Becoming a Vampire in “Twilight: Eclipse”
During the Twilight Saga: Eclipse movie premiere this past Thursday at the Nokia Theater in Los Angeles, Ca., Kristen Stewart was asked about how she would handle being pregnant, becoming a mother and becoming a vampire for the next installment of the Twilight Saga movies: Breaking Dawn.
Stewart said she was not mentally there yet as in she had not mentally prepared herself for the role of Bella becoming all those things yet.
The interview is quick but it allows us some insight into the deep levels an actor must get to before doing their character justice.

‘Twilight: Eclipse’ fight coordinator Jonathan Eusebio

Doane Gregory / Summit Entertainment
www.latimes.com: Majoring in biology at UC Irvine may not have been the most obvious preparation for a career as a fight coordinator for films, including “The Twilight Saga: Eclipse.” Still, Jonathan Eusebio sees value in his studies of mitochondria and cytoskeletons.
“Biology doesn’t relate to film but school teaches you how to interact with different types of people, be disciplined and turn things in on a deadline,” he said. “School gives you those necessary skills to get things done.”
Lively up yourself: While the previous “Twilight” installments may have been more focused on emotions, the third movie packs a real punch. “It wasn’t a fight-intensive series to begin with, but the third one is starting to get a lot of battles,” Eusebio said “There’s a big sequence when the Cullens have to train for fighting [another group of] vampires. There’s a big charge at the end where the Cullens have to fight all the newborn vampires. And then there’s a big scene where Edward has to fend off Victoria and her new lover Riley. So this movie has a lot of action going on in there.”

Twilight Eclipse Night: Denver

blastmagazine.com: Last night hundreds of Twilight fans gathered at Sloan’s Lake Park in Denver for Twilight Night, a special celebration in honor of the upcoming movie, “The Twilight Saga: Eclipse,” and the evening’s lunar eclipse.
The event featured a screening of The Twilight Saga: New Moon, along with special appearances by two supporting cast members, Booboo Stewart and Tinsel Korey. The two play Seth Clearwater and Emily, members of the Quileute tribe and the Wolf Pack, the werewolves of Twilight.
Fans of all ages showed up at the park as early as 4:00 to show their excitement for Eclipse. Groups of teenagers and families with young children huddled under umbrellas in the pouring rain. They clutched dog-eared copies of Stephenie Meyer’s novels, along with water bottles, cell phones, magazines, posters, jewelry, T-shirts, and notebooks all emblazoned with the Twilight logo.

See ‘Eclipse’ film locations in Vancouver, B.C.
You don’t need to travel far to enter the Twilight zone. Just head to Vancouver, B.C., where “Eclipse,” the third in the wildly popular vampire-love movies based on the Twilight novels, was filmed.
The book, by Stephenie Meyer, is set mostly in Forks and La Push on the Olympic Peninsula and in Seattle. But the movie, being released on June 30, was filmed in locations around Vancouver, from downtown streets to densely wooded suburban parks that substitute for places in Washington state.
Fans have been tracking down “Eclipse” filming locations since last summer and fall when the movie was shot. The film company, Summit Entertainment, won’t release details on locations. However, the online fan community is buzzing with swooning tales of “Eclipse” star sightings and shooting locations in Vancouver.
Once they’ve seen the movie, even more “Twi-hards” are expected to trace the characters’ footsteps — and love and battle scenes — in Vancouver.

“Twilight” Finally Hits Its Stride With Third Film
It took three films, but “The Twilight Saga” finally nails just the right tone in “Eclipse,” a film that neatly balances the teenage operatic passions from Stephenie Meyer’s novels with the movies’ supernatural trappings.
With the momentum of a movie series that sees installments arriving like clockwork every year, “Eclipse” looks primed to be the most successful film yet in Summit Entertainment’s franchise upon its Wednesday release. The action is pretty much relegated to the climax, but it’s nifty enough that young men may get into the series too even if “Eclipse” isn’t their first choice on a Friday night.

‘Bree Tanner’ million-seller in less than a month
Stephenie Meyer (MY’-er), author of the “Twilight Saga,” has yet another smash hit on her hands.
“The Short Second Life of Bree Tanner: an Eclipse Novella” has scored sales of more than 1 million copies in the U.S. since its June 5 release.
Publisher Little, Brown Books for Young Readers said Monday it now ranks as the year’s best-selling book so far. It had debuted on several best-seller lists in the U.S., as well as in numerous countries around the world.
Eclipse Screenwriter Melissa Rosenberg on Fans: ‘They’re Coming After Me a Little Bit Already!’

www.movieline.com: In many ways, Melissa Rosenberg has the Twilight franchise’s most difficult job: as screenwriter, she has to satisfy not just the original novelist Stephenie Meyer, but the actors (including Kristen Stewart, who famously won’t say a line if she doesn’t believe it), directors, and fans, too. The imminent Eclipse is her third crack at the series, and up next is the very controversial Breaking Dawn, which Rosenberg is busily splitting into two movies.
In a candid interview with Movieline, Rosenberg discussed fan frustrations, her thoughts on Summit’s director selections, and just how she pictures that Breaking Dawn split.
You’re working now on Breaking Dawn, which will be split into two movies. Do you treat each of those parts like they’re their own film, or like it’s one film split in two?
There’s absolutely a difference. Each one has to be approached as a separate movie, and each story has to stand alone.

Screenwriter Melissa Rosenberg Video Interview
www.collider.com: During the extended interview she discussed how working for director David Slade was different than Catherine Hardwicke and Chris Weitz, how much time she’s spent writing all the Twilight films, what was cut out of Eclipse, and regarding Breaking Dawn…I asked her how long she knew it was going to be two films, when exactly did she start writing the films, what was her reaction to Bill Condon directing the final installments, how has she been working with Condon on the script, and we ended the interview talking about with the 4th book being the most controversial among the fans, how is it for her to tackle the writing. She talks about how some fans want an R rating and she explains why it doesn’t have to be so graphic.
New ‘Eclipse’ Photo!! (PHOTO) See All of the Wolf Pack Members With Their Wolves!
A new Twilight ‘Eclipse’ photo has hit the web! Here is a really neat photo of all of the wolf pack members with their wolves! The photo is believed to be from the ‘Eclipse’ Movie Companion, but the folks over at TwilightGuide.com who were kind enough to post this, weren’t 100% sure.

Apparently the’Twilight’ Saga Ruins Marriages

Too much of something is never okay. Whether it’s food, sleep or even exercise, overdosing leads to problems. Apparently the same is true for movies. There are loads of folks out there who are diehard Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings or Star Wars fans, but, according to an LA Times article, it’s an obsession with The Twilight Saga that’s most troublesome. Twilight lovers are sacrificing their relationship for Stephenie Meyer’s books and the film adaptations.
The general stereotype pegs teenage girls as being the main source of Twihards when, in fact, there’s hoards of Twilight moms and even grandmas out there. One fan, 31-year-old Chrystal Johnson revealed, “My husband finally came to me and said, ‘I think you love Twilight more than you love me.’” From there the couple separated and Johnson had to go through some major Twilight detox before being able to rebuild her relationship.
The arguments proposed here do make sense, but I still don’t see a glaring difference between love for Twilight and love for something else like fantasy football, a particular celebrity, a TV show, a hobby or anything for that matter. The issue isn’t Twilight, it’s the concept of being obsessed with something. Obsessions can lead a person to do strange things whether it’s to camp out outside the Nokia Theatre in LA for the Eclipse premiere, to drop loads of cash on a concert ticket to see a beloved singer or even to wake up at an ungodly hour because your favorite soccer team is playing in the World Cup.

Well, if that wolf pack photo is real or not, it still helps me putting a face to the wolf
I can only remember that the black one is Sam. What do you think about that?
It’ll be different, weird and cute to see Kristen pregnant in Breaking Dawn! I hope they leave the ‘I’m so big, I can’t even see my feet’ quote. We just have to wait until October to start seeing pictures and more details about the film, and Renesmee. It is also so great that Bree’s novella has helped Red Cross with it’s more that 1 million copies sold. I can say that I’ve contributed there
Have you gotten your copy?
What are some of the scenes that you’re really looking forward to see in Breaking Dawn? Where do you think it should be split?
What do you think of Melissa Rosenberg’s interviews?

TWILIGHT SAGA NEWS FOR JUNE 5TH:DAVID SLADE, BREE TANNER, NEW CLIPS & MORE

David Slade Writes to Twilight Fans
David Slade wrote a note to the fans of The Twilight Saga via the official Facebook page in celebration of reaching 6 million fans on the Facebook account. He also recounts a story from filming the Quileute bonfire scene.
Dear fans of The Twilight Saga,
I want to congratulate you for reaching over 6 million fans on The Twilight Saga Facebook page.
It’s hard to fathom that it was just over one year ago that I started constructing this third and epic adventure which takes place in the town of Forks.
I want to share a story about one of our days of shooting with you.
It was a Friday night and the rain was relentless. We were at La Push to shoot the tribe’s histories, a great speech by Billy Black. We had Taylor and Kristen and the whole wolf pack around a campfire as the heavens let loose on us.
Gil Birmingham was in fine form as the rain hammered down on us all, we adjusted our lights so that the rain vanished into the black of night.
We constructed a tent over the scene to keep everyone dry as we worked, every 15 minutes or so we would have to tip it to stop the collecting rain from splitting the fabric.
For some reason still unknown, around 3am, the wolf pack stood exactly in the way of several gallons of rainwater as it was being cleared. Being the wolf pack, they just laughed it off as they stood there soaked to the bone.
We worked through the mud and the rain all night, until we had the scene perfected.
As we left, dawn was now cracking and in the dim light I passed a small army of fans who had braved the weather for the entire night, still standing there, holding drenched flowers and waiting to get a glimpse of our actors.
So, to those of you who stood behind our security, who waited in line at theatres overnight, to those of you who just love these stories, The Twilight Saga: Eclipse is a love letter to you.
Each day I felt the weight of your favourite scenes, your favourite lines, your dreams and your imagination.
It has been an unforgettable journey, and now as I finalise the last prints to ready the film for your local theaters, I cannot wait for you to see it.
Sincerest Regards,
DAVID SLADE

Nikki Reed Talks “Breaking Dawn” and MTV Movie Awards
from mtv.com:
When it comes to believing rumors about the “Twilight” cast, Nikki Reed has some simple advice straight out of the ’80s hip-hop playbook: Don’t believe the hype.
“I think it’s kind of an obvious thing that we would all come back to do ['Breaking Dawn'],” the 22-year-old actress told MTV News on Tuesday at the Women in Film Crystal + Lucy Awards, addressing a rumor to the contrary that said salary disputes threatened to sideline one or more of her castmates. “The media gets involved. I mean, I didn’t really read anything that was printed,” she said, adding with a laugh: “At least the things that were printed about me.”

Chris Weitz Talks About “Breaking Dawn”
from mtv.com:
Weitz ended up declining the opportunity to bring the final book in the vampire series to the big screen, but he remains flattered that the cast supports him and even has a bit of advice for “Breaking Dawn” director Bill Condon (“Dreamgirls”).
Weitz, who led “New Moon” to more than $700 million in worldwide box-office receipts, is confident that Condon is the right man to step into the director’s chair for “Breaking Dawn.” “I think he’s terribly talented,” Weitz said. “I know him, he’s a solid citizen, great guy, very smart. I think he’s going to do an amazing job.”
His one piece of advice? “Think carefully about babies clawing out of people’s stomachs,” Weitz said in reference to one scene in the book, going on to refer to an even more famous scene in 1979′s “Alien.” “[Director] Ridley Scott sort of did it.”

I love David Slade’s recollection of the filming of the Quileute bonfire scene and how they kept going despite the weather. That is one of the scenes that I am really looking forward to seeing. If done right, it very well could just give me chills to see it.
I love all of the TV spots that are coming out. While they are very repetitive, they are certainly doing their job of getting fans anxious for the movie’s release. I’ve noticed that they have been very stingy with the Jasper and Rosalie history scenes. I hope that they are saving those for a nice surprise once we’re in the theater!
LOL at Chris Weitz’s reference to the birth scene from “Alien”! This is what many fans have been saying for a while now…it’s not like Renesmee is the first baby to claw her way out of the mother’s abdomen. If they could find a way to depict it on the big screen 31 years ago, surely it can’t be too difficult with the advances in special effects and CGI since then.

TWILIGHT SAGA NEWS FOR MARCH 24TH:SPLITTING BREAKING DAWN, CHRIS WEITZ, & WHY GUYS WILL LIKE ECLIPSE
Author: Chris54 | Filed under: Movie News, News BlogOne movie or two? That seems to be the big “Twilight” question these days for fans, who await a resolution to the unsettled matter whether “Breaking Dawn,” the final volume in Stephenie Meyer’s vampire book series, will be split into two parts for the big screen.
The franchise’s stars have weighed in on the debate too. Kristen Stewart told MTV News she’s keen for a two-picture finale. Nikki Reed said she’d also love the chance to take part in two films. Peter Facinelli thinks the idea would be “fantastic.” And now Ashley Greene has offered her opinion.

Chris Weitz discusses working with Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, and the making of The Twilight Saga: New Moon at an exclusive interview found at Movieweb.
Despite having directed pop culture phenomena like American Pie and New Moon, Weitz calls himself a “pop culture moron.” He had no idea about the Robert Pattinson-Jimmy Fallon “bothered” deal, and from his response seemed just as oblivious to what “bothered” meant exactly. (“How bothered is Robert? He doesn’t seem terribly bothered at all.”)
About David Slade, who is supposed to be bringing a darker vision to Eclipse, Weitz says, “Just as New Moon looked different from Twilight, I’m sure Eclipse will look different from New Moon. That is good. I don’t want to make anybody follow any type of particular aesthetic. The reason he was brought on was to make every movie different. I think Eclipse is much more action-intensive. For instance, I am pretty terrible at shooting action. He is much better in that regard.”

The hysteria-inducing “Twilight” film series has all the trappings of an epic chick flick with an abundance of bare-chested werewolves and a romance between two longing young lovers anchoring the phenomenon. But Chaske Spencer, who plays werewolf leader Sam Uley in the film, insisted last night that fellas would find some appeal in the upcoming “Eclipse” flick too.
“It’s darker and there’s a lot more action — the werewolves and vampires team up,” Spencer told Niteside at the Steve Madden Music and Iyaz bash Tuesday evening.

Spencer said the more guy-friendly “Eclipse” may make the third “Twilight” film the most successful installment of the series.
“‘New Moon’ had one of the biggest opening days in history,” he said. “I think ‘Eclipse’ is going to probably surpass that, and I think a lot of guys can go see it. There’s a lot more action,” he said.

TWILIGHT SAGA NEWS FOR MARCH 23RD: ECLIPSE ONE-SHEET, PETER FACINELLI, KELLAN LUTZ, NEW MOON DELETED SCENES
Author: ifellhard | Filed under: Book News, Interviews, Movie News, Movie PostersSUMMIT RELEASES “ECLIPSE” ONE-SHEET MOVIE POSTER
Earlier today, Summit Entertainment released the first one-sheet movie poster for “The Twilight Saga: Eclipse” via their official Twilight Twitter account. It features Bella with Edward and Jacob in the background with the tag line, “It All Begins…With A Choice.” Fans will recognize the tag line from the trailers released earlier this month as the movie centers around Bella’s choice to become a vampire like the Cullens and her having to choose between Edward and Jacob.
Enjoy!!
PETER FACINELLI ON THE SENSUALITY OF VAMPIRES, ON-SET ROMANCES, AND TWITTER
from independent.co.uk:
In a recent article in the British news website, The Independent, Peter Facinelli discussed his roles in “Nurse Jackie” and “Twilight” along with on-set romances and his interaction with fans via Twitter.
How have you coped with the attention from fans that Twilight must have brought you?
It doesn’t really affect me on a daily level. I don’t get mobbed like Robert Pattinson (who plays his step-son Edward Cullen in the Twilight Saga). I really enjoy corresponding with fans. Any time you meet someone who is excited about your work it’s gratifying. It’s better than having people throw rotten tomatoes at you! The most attention I get is kids ringing the doorbell of my house.
Why do you think people are so interested in vampires and the supernatural?
I think there’s a sensuality about vampires. A monstrousness. They offer up eternal life in exchange for blood. There’s something intense about wanting someone so much that you have to devour them. The biting of the neck. It’s sexy.
KELLAN LUTZ TO PLAY POSEIDON IN “WAR OF THE GODS”
from mtv.com:
Lutz has been cast in the role of Poseidon, Greek god of the sea, in “War of the Gods,” an upcoming swords and sandals blockbuster from “The Fall” and “The Cell” director Tarsem Singh. Lutz joins Henry Cavill, Mickey Rourke and Freida Pinto in the growing cast, which is expected to assemble next month for the start of production.
The story follows young Greek warrior Theseus (Cavill) as he leads his fellow soldiers in a… well… a war of the gods, at the bidding of King Hyperion (Rourke). The Theseus of Greek myth is the founder of Athens and son of Poseidon, though it’s not known how closely “War” will follow established stories. Pinto will play Phaedra, Theseus’ second wife.
FIVE REASONS YOU SHOULD WATCH TWILIGHT: NEW MOON (EVEN IF YOU DON’T WANT TO)
A guest blogger for NationalPost.com had a review copy of the “New Moon” DVD and recently listed five reasons why you should watch the film – even if you don’t want to.
5 Reasons you should watch Twilight: New Moon (even though you really don’t want to.)
1. It was filmed in Vancouver and during a couple of scenes, you can play “Spot your Favourite Vancouver Hangouts.”
2. You can relish the irony of a devout Mormon writing a book that predominantly features buff men who can never wear shirts.
3. Oscar nominee and Up in The Air star Anna Kendrick is in it and manages to save every one of her scenes.
CHRIS WEITZ COMES CLEAN ABOUT “NEW MOON” DVD DELETED SCENES
from deadbolt.com:
According to NBC’s PopCornBiz, which recently interviewed Chris Weitz for the New Moon DVD, the New Moon director admitted that he was wrong. “I’m basically a big, fat liar,” Weitz confessed. “I put it out there that there are deleted scenes, but I just realized there aren’t. It was an honest mistake.”
Chris Weitz outlined how the New Moon DVD deleted scenes mistake was made and that it was all about marketing on the part of Summit Entertainment. Although the New Moon DVD does come with a “Making of” featurette and a commentary from Chris Weitz, the studio decided to save the deleted scenes for future New Moon DVD releases. “Shall we be honest, it’s marketing,” Weitz admitted. When PopCornBiz asked if it was about more bang for the buck, Weitz responded with, “I think that’s the case, but you said it, not me.”
So…what do you think about the official one-sheet that was released today? I love the ominous looking clouds in the background and I think that Rob’s vampire makeup looks good. Just for comparison, I looked at images of Kristen from the first movie poster and the differences in her appearance and demeanor are so striking! Kristen really looked like a little kid almost for the first film.
Just a little interesting factoid…Kellan’s co-star in the “War of the Gods” movie, Henry Cavill, was Stephenie Meyer’s first choice for an actor to play Edward.
In the blogger’s five reasons to watch “New Moon”, I totally agree with his comments on Anna Kendrick. Her rant in Port Angeles was so wonderful!
I have to admit that I had not noticed that my DVD didn’t have deleted scenes (yet). Now that I know that, I’m really bummed and ticked that Summit would use that as a way to sell additional DVDs to fans who have paid to see the movie several times in the theater, bought a DVD, bought the soundtrack, and have shelled out money for licensed Twilight merchandise. Greedy much?

“ECLIPSE” STUNTS MADE NIKKI REED WANT TO DIE
At last we have something to report on Nikki Reed! It seems like she vanished after “New Moon” hit theaters last fall. In a recent interview with People, she commented on what it was like to film the fight scenes and the stunt work involved in “Eclipse”.
“We were doing a lot of stunts, too much in too little time,” Reed, 21, said, calling life on set “tough.” “The hardest part is trying to fly around on cables in the woods at 6 o’clock, fighting the sunset and stuff. And looking like we’re not cold and super powerful, when we just want to die.”
NIKKI REED AND CHRIS WEITZ ON “BREAKING DAWN” DIRECTOR RUMORS
MTV recently caught up with Twilight Saga star Nikki Reed at one of the many “New Moon” DVD release parties on Friday night, along with “New Moon” director Chris Weitz, and they shared their thoughts with them on the rumors surrounding who might direct “Breaking Dawn”.
Nikki: “I was trying to ask them earlier today, and they wouldn’t give me anything,” she said. “But all the directors that you mentioned, I mean, that would be fantastic, both [Van Sant and Coppola]. Either one. I mean, we would be honored.”
“New Moon” director Chris Weitz echoed her sentiments, saying the Coppola choice was an “interesting idea” and that Van Sant directing the film(s) “would be bitchin’.”
KELLAN LUTZ SURPRISES FANS ON “ELLEN”
As a part of the promotional push for this weekend’s release of the “New Moon” DVD, Kellan Lutz surprised fans on “Ellen” on Friday when he appeared as the “free gift” that came with Ellen’s copy of the DVD.
GRAPHIC NOVEL PUTS “TWILIGHT” IN A NEW LIGHT FOR STEPHENIE MEYER FANS
from USA Today:
The hardcover book, illustrated and adapted by South Korean artist Young Kim, was created with author Meyer’s oversight.
“When it comes to really seeing Stephenie Meyer’s personal vision of the Twilight property, this is as close an opportunity there is to accomplishing that,” says Yen’s Kurt Hassler. “Stephenie was very specific and has very clear images of what the characters look like in her head.”
Meyer likes what she sees in Kim’s depictions of sexy teen vampire Edward Cullen and Bella Swan, the girl he loves. She writes in the introduction that seeing Kim’s drawings “brought me back to my first ‘Twilight’ experience … suddenly I would be feeling all the same things I felt that first summer while I was writing their (Edward and Bella’s) story.”
PETER FACINELLI ATTENDS “NEW MOON” DVD RELEASE PARTY IN NYC
from examiner.com:
Twilight Fans from all over New York City gathered at the Best Buy on Union Square at Midnight to meet Peter Facinelli (who plays Dr. Carlisle) and purchase their “New Moon” DVD. Originally, some fans had thought that Facinelli would be appearing at Borders Books on the Upper West Side, but at 7:53pm last night he tweeted to his 1.5million plus followers that he would be appearing at Best Buy: “I’ll b @ NM DVD RELEASE PARTY 2night @Best Buy by Union Square 52E.14st NY doors open @midnight. 1st 75 people get a special treat:).”
Fans got to chat with Facinelli and take photos with him. He also signed copies of the “New Moon” DVD! According to fans, it was a pretty laid back environment.
I have to say that I’m glad to have something to report about Nikki. It really does seem like she vanished after “New Moon” was released. Granted, she’s promoting the DVD release, but still. I have to commend the cast for their hard work in doing the fight scenes and doing their own stunts. I’m sure that their hard work will all be worth it when we’re talking about how awesome the fight scenes are when the film hits theaters this summer.
The fact that Chris Weitz used the word “bitchin’” in the MTV interview to describe another director’s work made me love him even more!
What did you think of Kellan’s surprise appearance on “Ellen”? I love her attitude toward all of the stars. It seems like she genuinely likes the Twilight films and the cast from what I’ve seen in the interviews. She doesn’t seem to have the contempt that many in the media (outside of the gossip shows) have for them.
Have you purchased the graphic novel yet? I got mine yesterday when I picked up my “New Moon” DVD. I’ve gone through a few pages, but I’ve been too busy watching the movie and cleaning house to get very far into it. I love the cover and the images that I’ve seen so far. It’s interesting to see how they differ from the casting in the films, the images in my head, and how similar they are in those same ways.
Did you attend any of the release parties with the cast members present? If so, we’d love to hear about your experience.

MOVIE NEWS FOR MARCH 20TH: DEATHLY HALLOWS PREVIEW, CHRIS WEITZ, & CAPTAIN AMERICA
Author: Chris54 | Filed under: Movie News, News Blog
ShoWest 2010: Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows Preview
Warner Bros.’ The Big Picture presentation at ShoWest 2010 ended with some of the first footage ever shown for David Yates’ Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, showing clips presumably from both parts of the final chapter. This isn’t a fully detailed recap, just what we could remember and having not yet read the book, this writer didn’t have a lot of context for what he was watching on screen but it still looked pretty fantastic.
The footage opened with Ralph Fiennes as Voldemort in a clearing followed closely by his Death Eaters. Being unfinished footage, Fiennes still had dots on his face and there were placement dots for later FX, but soon, they meet up with Harry Potter and Voldemort snarls, “Harry Potter… Come to die.”
That sets up the footage which makes it clear that the last two movies are going to be about the final showdown between the two long-time nemeses, and much of what we saw involved Voldemort plotting with his Death Eaters how he was going to capture Harry Potter and how he wants to be the one to kill him when they do.
The Ministry of Magic is clearly falling apart and they seem to be after our heroes as well, but as someone who hasn’t read the book, it wasn’t clear whether the Ministry were working with Voldemort to catch Harry or whether they had their own agenda. One scene shows multiple Harry Potters, and we see a bit of Bill Nighy as Rufus Scrimgeour, looking very fierce, as well as quite a lot of Helena Bonham Carter’s Bellatrix Lestrange acting suitably crazy as she interacts with the kids after they’ve been captured and are being brought to the Death Eaters safe house.

Chris Weitz Says He ‘Lucked Out’ In Getting To Direct ‘New Moon’
Die-hard fans of “The Twilight Saga” showed up at various retailers across the country Friday night, waiting to get their hands on a copy of “New Moon.” The second installment of the series, which hit theaters back in November, comes out on DVD and Blu-ray Saturday (March 20), and many retailers held midnight release parties to celebrate the event.
Those lucky enough to live in the Los Angeles area were given a treat when director Chris Weitz and actress Nikki Reed showed up at the local Wal-Mart to commemorate the release. Weitz took a minute to sit down with MTV News and look back at his year spent with “The Twilight Saga.”
Weitz has made a point not to claim the series as his own. Even after the popularity of “New Moon,” he repeatedly said he would not return to direct the final film(s), “Breaking Dawn.” Still, he acknowledged his role in making the series reach an even higher level of popularity.
“I lucked out, man,” he admitted. “The first movie was terribly popular and pretty much a chimp could direct the second movie to do well. So I was like, ‘I’m on Easy Street. There’s a good cast, and I’ve got some great people working on it, so I’m fine.’ ”

CAPTAIN AMERICA Lead Offered to Chris Evans
Finally, something resembling forward motion in the casting for the lead of The First Avenger: Captain America. Mere hours ago we heard wind of another iteration of the shortlist which featured Channing Tatum (G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra), Chris Evans (Fantastic Four), and relative unknown Sebastian Stan (Gossip Girl) as the most serious contenders for the role. Now Heat Vision reports that an offer has been extended to Chris Evans, who seems to be the most popular name among those tossed about. As super soldier Steve Rogers is the role of a lifetime, Evans will of course accept posthaste . . . right?
Marvel Studios and director Joe Johnston are looking to get The First Avenger in front of cameras this summer, which unfortunately conflicts with the shoot of What’s Your Number?, a romantic comedy which Evans committed to headlining alongside Anna Faris.

Penelope Cruz’ Role in Pirates 4 Identified
That headline might seems like a strange clash of conflicting stories, but they’re closely tied together by one thing: back in February, news bubbled up that Penelope Cruz would be taking the lead in Lars von Trier’s sci-fi disaster movie Melancholia; then one day later, we heard she wouldn’t be doing it all and had signed on to Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides instead.
Over at MTV, an update on Penelope’s choice from Pirates’ producer Jerry Bruckheimer:
She plays the daughter of Blackbeard. She’s the daughter of the bad guy. She brings a lot of humor to it. And the fact that she’s so feisty.
Sounds like she could do it in her sleep.
Blackbeard is being played by Ian McShane who doesn’t exactly strike me as a real dead ringer for Pene, I must say.
There’s a little more on the role, with Bruckheimer promising that we’ll see “a little romance between Captain Jack and the character that Penelope plays”. So that’s Angelina Jolie and Penelope Cruz getting a little Johnny Depp action all in the one year? Should keep the paps and rumour rags on their toes anyway.
