KRISTEN STEWART HOPES “ECLIPSE” PROPOSAL SCENE TURNED OUT WELL
Kristen Stewart recently shared her thoughts on the proposal scene from “Eclipse” with MTV.com, telling them that she hopes that it turned out well. I have to admit that this is the scene that I am most anxious to see in the movie. The next two being the tent scene and the newborn battle. Here are Kristen’s comments to MTV.com:
“Well, to decide you’re gonna marry someone at 18 is a pretty hefty decision,” she told MTV News from the red carpet of the premiere of her new movie, “The Yellow Handkerchief.” “And I didn’t want to look stupid. I didn’t want it to look like kids getting married. You know what I mean?”
Stewart said she had to find an emotional space that allowed her to make a teenage engagement seem plausible. “I wanted to be, like, ‘Oh! Wow! I would say yes too!’ You know what I mean? So I don’t know how you do that. You try to do it for real, and it felt good. I hope it turned out alright.”
“BREAKING DAWN” MAY STILL BE ONE FILM
from fandango.com:Only a few days after Deadline Hollywood reported that it was a done deal and Summit Entertainment would be filming The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn in two parts comes word that none of the main actors (Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson, Taylor Lautner) have signed on to a fifth film, and the studio is not yet ready to make a decision on whether or not they’ll be splitting up the final installment in the Twilight franchise.
One of the reasons why the studio isn’t ready is because they still haven’t made deals with Stewart, Pattinson and Lautner, according to The Hollywood Reporter. And since a fifth film wasn’t part of their original contracts – not to mention that they’re all certifiable movie stars now – in order to secure the trio, Summit will most likely have to dish out a pretty penny (I’d say upwards of $15-20 million for all three).
ROBERT PATTINSON ANSWERS QUESTIONS ABOUT “REMEMBER ME”
Robert Pattinson answers fan questions in a series of “Ask Rob” clips to promote his upcoming film, “Remember Me”. This clip features Rob’s response to a fan’s question about having a little sister in the film. “Remember Me” opens in theaters on March 12 and fans will also be treated to the first trailer from “The Twilight Saga: Eclipse.”
ROBERT PATTINSON AND KRISTEN STEWART TO APPEAR AT BAFTA AWARDS THIS WEEKEND
As you may recall, Kristen Stewart is nominated for a BAFTA (British Academy of Film and Television Awards) in the category of Rising Star. Other nominees for the award include Jesse Eisenberg (her “Adventureland” co-star), Nicholas Hoult, Carey Mulligan, and Tahar Rahim. Robert Pattinson is slated to be a presenter at the award ceremony, but the category for which he is presenting has not been revealed.
The red carpet coverage will air on Sunday, February 21 on BBC Three at 7:30 PM (GMT) and the ceremony will air on BBC One beginning at 9:00 PM (GMT).
Fans outside of the UK can watch the awards on BBC America on Sunday, February 21 at 8 PM (EST) and 7:30 PM (PST).
JACKSON RATHBONE TALKS “ECLIPSE” AND “THE LAST AIRBENDER”
In this clip, Jackson Rathbone talks about how his work on “The Last Airbender” prepared him for the fight scenes as Jasper Hale in “The Twilight Saga: Eclipse”.
NSFW OR FOR KIDS – OUTTAKES FROM ROBERT PATTINSON’S DETAILS MAGAZINE PHOTO SHOOT
Once again, we issue a caution for the pictures. They aren’t for the faint of heart, workplace, or the underage. Details Magazine just posted some of the outtakes from the uber-racy Robert Pattinson photo shoot on their website. I must admit that I am particularly fond of the second one in the set. The intense look in his eyes is amazing!
I am so looking forward to seeing the “Eclipse” trailer on March 12th. I am hoping for a glimpse of the proposal scene in there. I’m sure that we’ll see some fight scenes, but I really want to see some of the “chick moments” to get a feel for how things might look in the final product. I have to admit that I’m afraid of it being too dark or to action-oriented.
Ugh! I’m so tired of the speculation on “Breaking Dawn”. I wish that they would just hurry up and decide on something. They know that the actors are willing to do two films and an overwhelming majority of the fans are up for it, so why not go for it and get the ball rolling!

TWILIGHT SAGA NEWS FOR FEBRUARY 13TH

FANS FLOCK TO BURLINGAME CONVENTION
from insidebayarea.com:
“Twilight” is kind of a big deal, in case you hadn’t noticed — particularly to teen girls and young women.
Take Paige Wraa-Noveli, who at 6 months old had to undergo a split liver transplant, the first ever performed at UCLA Medical Center, her mom said.
“She wasn’t supposed to make it to a year,” said Deborah Noveli, Paige’s mother. “Then she wasn’t supposed to make it 2 years, then 5.”
When Paige turned 18 on Tuesday, she knew exactly what she wanted for her birthday: tickets to this weekend’s “Twilight” convention, which runs through Sunday at the Hyatt Regency in Burlingame.
Hundreds of devoted girls and women — or “Twi-hards,” as some attendees called themselves — turned out Friday for the convention’s first day, excited to meet cast members, buy special merchandise, get inside scoops on the books and films and spend the day with fellow fans.
WHY “TWILIGHT” FANS MIGHT ENJOY WHAT “THE WOLFMAN” HAS TO OFFER
from mtv.com:
Universal Pictures’ revival of “The Wolfman” was unleashed into theaters everywhere today, and while the Benicio Del Toro-starring film is geared towards horror fans and monster movie enthusiasts, it might appeal to another unexpected crowd… “Twilight” fans.
Now, I’m not suggesting that “The Wolfman” is a teenage romance, nor is it necessarily appropriate for the younger viewers that flocked to “New Moon” in droves. What I am saying, however, is that there are certain aspects about the new thriller that could tickle the fancy of Team Jacob members everywhere.
For starters, this is a movie about werewolves. There are some important differences between the werewolves in “The Wolfman” and the shape-shifting creatures of “The Twilight Saga,” such as the former’s tendency to brutally eviscerate their victims and the latter’s knack for looking really, really good without a shirt. But if part of your “Twilight” craving stems from your interest in werewolves, this is the flick for you.
ROBERT PATTINSON’S SEXY “REMEMBER ME” PICS AND TAYLOR LAUTNER’S HOT “VALENTINE’S DAY” KISS
from mtv.com:
OK so it’s still months and months until “Eclipse” hits the big screen, but it seems this week you Crushers couldn’t get enough of all things “Twilight.” Surprise! Kicking off our top headlines was Robert Pattinson, who proved he has romantic chemistry onscreen with someone other than Kristen Stewart: Emilie de Ravin. In our exclusive and super steamy pics from his latest flick, “Remember Me,” out in March.
When you guys took your attention off of R-Pattz, you focused on all things Taylor Lautner. First up on our top stories starring Taylor, was the clip from “Valentine’s Day,” which contained the only video-documented kiss (on the big screen!) between him and Taylor Swift.

10 STORIES YOU MAY HAVE MISSED: RUMORS CONTINUE TO FLY SURROUNDING “BREAKING DAWN”
from hitfix.com:
Every diligent in tapping all possible scenarios around the popular “Twilight Saga” franchise, a number of media outlets made unsubstantiated reports about the potential fourth and fifth installments of the series, “Breaking Dawn” this week.
Deadline.com created a significant amount of buzz reporting the old news that Summit Entertainment was considering breaking Stephanie Meyer’s fourth novel into two films. The report also noted the studio would be looking for “high end” directors (really? like they hadn’t tried and accomplished that before with Chris Weitz and David Slade?). This prompted Summit Entertainment to issue the following statement:
“No decision has been made and as we have said all along we are continuing to work with Stephenie Meyer to bring Breaking Dawn to the big screen.”
“ECLIPSE” ROUGH CUT COMPLETE
from reelempire.com:
‘Twilight: Eclipse’ rough cut complete. David Slade, director of Summit Entertainment’s third installment in their popular vampire series titled “Twilight Saga: Eclipse” has been keeping fans up-to-date on the progress of the film over the past few months via his Twitter page. His latest updates revolve around the editing process in which he is “cutting like crazy.” Just prior to that he confirmed a first director’s cut was completed and screened to the studio for the first time.
TAYLOR LAUTNER LANDS NEW MOVIE ROLE IN “ABDUCTION” AND HAS STUDIOS FIGHTING
from ontheflix.com:
Twilight’s Taylor Lautner lands new movie role in ‘Abduction’ & has studios fighting. According to “Entertainment Weekly,” Taylor Lautner who plays Jacob Black in the very popular Twilight, New Moon, and Eclipse movies has just landed yet another role in what is tapped to be a Bourne Identity-type movie called, “Abduction.” Taylor Lautner just celebrated his 18th birthday with this new movie role, and about a couple $million for this flick, I’m sure, because he has about five movie studios fighting or bidding over the rights to script for this film.
ROBERT PATTINSON AND EMILIE DE RAVIN IN VOGUE MAGAZINE
Be sure to check out the spread in the March 2010 issue of Vogue with images of Robert Pattinson and Emilie de Ravin.

ROBERT PATTINSON COVERS MARCH 2010 ISSUE OF DETAILS MAGAZINE
March is a busy month for Robert Pattinson as he has a new movie being released, is shooting another, appears in Vogue, and he covers Details in some risque photos. Get a cold glass of water and take a peek!
Warning – the content is of a mature nature. You should be able to purchase your own tickets for Rated-R movies to view them.
With the pending release of “New Moon” on DVD, the buzz on “Breaking Dawn”, and speculation on when a trailer for “Eclipse” will come out, there’s plenty to talk about in the Twilight World.
What do you think of the speculation that “Breaking Dawn” will be shot in 3-D? I honestly don’t know that it would really benefit the film at all. There’s very little action and so much is set inside of the Cullen house, the house at Isle Esme, and the cottage that I don’t know that it’s worth it. The confrontation in the clearing with The Volturi and scenes of Bella learning to fight might be worth it, but that’s all I can think of at this point.
Have you seen “Valentine’s Day” yet? I’m hoping to see it soon. Taylor is certainly the new “it boy” in Hollywood these days, picking up a new role to celebrate his birthday. I really do enjoy seeing all of their success, which is ironic considering how the critics slam their acting and the Twilight movies.
What do you think of the magazine scans of Robert? I’ll have to admit that I was taken by surprise with the Details scans. I am sooooo looking forward to “Remember Me” coming out next month. I am really looking forward to that movie (and I’m pretty darn sure that Summit will have the “Eclipse” trailer ready to go along with it).

TWILIGHT SAGA NEWS: “BREAKING DAWN” TO BE TWO FILMS

“BREAKING DAWN” TO BE TWO FILMS
Let the Hallelujah chorus begin! It looks like the suits at Summit Entertainment have finally made some decisions on how and when to shoot “Breaking Dawn”. Deadline.com reported the following earlier today:
Filming on the back-to-back movies would begin in mid-October, and Summit Entertainment is looking at “high-end” directors. Breaking Dawn is the longest in Stephenie Meyer’s 4-book series lengthwise and it’s the most graphic — presenting birth, attempted murder, death, and of course vampire bites.
I find the comment of “high-end” directors very interesting. For some reason, names like James Cameron and Peter Jackson instantly come to mind. While there is no official press release from Summit as of yet, it’s nice to hear that something is moving along. Those actors can’t stay young forever, after all!
What do you think about this news?
Are you a fan of the two-film format or would you prefer only one epic-length film?
Who are your guesses for director?

BREAKING DAWN RUMORS DEBUNKED
Author: Dahlia McAvoy | Filed under: Book News, Movie News, News BlogAs we reported this weekend, the rumors regarding production of Stephenie Meyer’s fourth book in the Twilight Saga, Breaking Dawn, are exaggerated. The largest online Twilight news resource, Twilight Lexicon, took the time today to run down a few of those rumors and put them to bed.
There are a ton of rumors swirling around the making of Breaking Dawn, so we thought we’d run them down for you.
The Breaking Dawn tab on the Summit Official world of Twilight website would seem to indicate that the studio has acquired the rights to the film, (otherwise huge oops for listing something you don’t have the rights to). It could be at any stage of development.
Other actors connected to the project supposedly stating that Breaking Dawn would start filming in February in Vancouver, two words: Winter Olympics. Those remarks remain rumor. If any movie manages to film in Vancouver while the city plays host to the Olympics this winter than hats off to them. It would be a logistical nightmare based on the traffic of the incoming visitors, not to mention that local production equipment/people get hired by the out-of-town media from every country in the world that is about to descend.
For more of this story, please visit here.
It is nice to get some clear cut answers to these rumors. I know it is just speculation until stories are confirmed, I just wish everyone else would understand that.
Are you disappointed these rumors are untrue? Will you be upset if they option the book, but shoot it as one film? Two films? Three?

examiner.com: INTERVIEW WITH PETER FACINELLI, ECLIPSE & BREAKING DAWN
Author: Dawn | Filed under: Movie News, News BlogAfter an exhaustingly long flight from Hawaii, and a long day signing autographs, taking pictures, and speaking at the question and answer panel at TwiCon 2009, The Twilight Saga: New Moon and Nurse Jackie star Peter Facinelli was so kind as to speak about The Twilight Saga: Eclipse, whose rehearsals begin tomorrow, he says.
AB: Rehearsals start in about a week, is that right?
PF: Tuesday.
AB: And are you looking forward to it?
PF: Oh yeah, I re-read Eclipse on my Hawaiian vacation, and then I read the script right after.
AB: How is it?
PF: It’s great. You know, it’s hard to cram a whole book into a movie and some of the details get lost in areas and in some areas they get heightened. The story’s the same, and I’m happy with it.
AB: What was your favorite part of Eclipse?
PF: I actually like that, in the book, a lot of the family members are talked about, and in the movie they’re in it a lot more. The books are all told from Bella’s perspective, so a lot of times, when she’s not in the scene and things are happening, you don’t actually get to see them, like the battle scene, for instance. In Eclipse when the whole family and the werewolves are fighting the newborn vampires, it’s talked about and through Edward you kind of get something, but in the movie you actually get to see it, you know, so I like that in the interpretations of the movies, it’s not always about Bella’s perspective. She isn’t always in the scene, and so that opens up the story a little bit. The Cullens are in it a lot more throughout.

I am surprised that they’ve heard nothing about Breaking Dawn. I’m sure they will know more soon.

In honor of Breaking Dawn’s One year Anniversary; We at OBS want your opinions on Who should be casted as the key NEW characters in The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn.

- Zafrina from The Amazon Coven

I have already given this some thought and these are my choices, if I could cast these intensely important roles
- Zafrina- Thandie Newton: She is completely capable of playing this long haired, tall Amazon woman, she is not only goregous but has a wild quality about her.
- Tayna- Evan Rachel Wood: This woman is a phenomenal actress, that embodies the looks of Tanya; strawberry blonde curls, pale, and very beautiful.
- Eleazar- Jim Sturgess: This actor could play the part of a young Vamp in looks but with a very mature/older soul.
- Kate- Amanda Seyfried: This upcoming star has a unique beauty, and chops to go with it, I would love to see her *shock* our Edward.
- Peter- Milo Ventimiglia: He has a certain southern innocent quality that reminds me of Peter but can be very quiet.
- Charlotte- Emily Blunt: This amazing actress could play the stunning southern brunette that caught Pete’s eye!
