The countdown to the release of Book 11 in Charlaine Harris’ Sookie Stackhouse Series novel has begun!

The title of the new book is “Dead Reckoning” and here is the first glimpse of the cover…

“Dead Reckoning” is slated to be released May 2011.

While it’s true we all wait with anticipation and excitement, I am sure you are with me in thinking, there better be an improvement from Harris’ last novel “Dead in the Family“, which seemed to add nothing to the series whatsoever. It was a mere interlude, a 300 page pause, in an otherwise fun and enthralling series. Harris needs to add excitement we saw in Books 4 “Dead to the World” and Book 5 “Dead As a Doornail“!

With that being said, how many of your are excited about the upcoming release? What do you want to transpire in Book 11? In what direction do you think Sookie and Eric’s relationship will go?
