‘INCEPTION’ IN REAL TIME WILL BLOW YOUR MIND

Inception was a pretty long movie, but — just like a dream, guys! — the action actually took place in a much shorter span than it seemed to. In fact, if you play all the dream levels in the movie simultaneously (using the time scale from the first level) they add up to a 4-and-a-half-minute video.

OBVIOUS SPOILER WARNING: If you haven’t seen Inception yet, you might not want to watch basically the entire movie in fast-forward.

[A] Stanford chemical engineering student named Weikang Sun actually did it, adjusting the speed of the video on each dream level. The result is a simultaneous view of Yusuf driving the van and everything that was taking place “deeper” during that time.
