Angela Spica – Engineer – The Authority

What do you get when you take a girl who grew up reading comic books and let her replace her blood with nine pints of nanotechnology juice? You get Angela Spica, the Engineer on The Authority team – of which she is a founding member. With veins pumping liquid machinery Angela is able to cover herself in liquid metal on a whim, commune on an almost spiritual level with machines and electronics, and even create mechanical copies of herself in a pinch. And did I mention she can fly?

THE STRANGE CASE OF HYDE COMIC BOOK ADAPTATION

Anyone tired of comic book adaptations? Well, if you answered with “no”, then get ready for another story, because Dark Horse’s upcoming graphic novel The Strange Case of Hyde is going to be adapted for the big screen!

Upcoming, exactly, since the comic will be officially revealed later this week at Comic Con.

The Strange Case of Hyde is written by Cole Haddon, who will also be handling the screenplay. Instead of using Hyde as a monster, in this new version (that will, by the way, still be set in the Victorian era) character will be something of an “anti-hero” both in the comic and in the upcoming movie.
