Synopsis:

When a stranger walks into the neighborhood bar, The Fine Kettle O’Fish, Finn and the others aren’t sure what to think of him–at first.

Soon, it’s apparent that Malcolm, the new guy, is bothering everyone’s favorite striptease artist, Violet, who has had a rough time climbing out of the gutter. Something is lurking in Mal’s past, and something has to be done. A short story. (Goodreads)

Review:

This was an okay story, the writing was good. It was not long enough for what it was trying to convey. It is a super fast read,  so it is worth reading to get a sense of the writing style and the ideas that we are able to get a taste of were interesting.

I recommend this for mature young adults and adults who are looking for a new author to read but don’t have a lot of time to devote to a long story, but want to get  the flavor of writing style of this author.
