Love takes the stage . . .
Elise deVries is not what she seems. By night, the actress captivates London theatergoers with her chameleon-like ability to slip inside her characters. By day, she uses her mastery of disguise to work undercover for Chegarre & Associates, an elite agency known for its discreet handling of indelicate scandals. But when Elise is tasked with locating the missing Duke of Ashland, she finds herself center stage in a real-life drama.
Noah Ellery left the glamour of the London aristocracy to pursue a simpler life in the country. He’s managed to avoid any complications or entanglements-that is, until he lays eyes on Elise and realizes there’s more to this beautiful woman than meets the eye. But when Elise reveals her real identity-and her true feelings for him-the runaway duke must confront the past he left behind . . . to keep the woman he loves forever.

Review:

A Duke to Remember is Kelly Bowen at her best. It is a fast moving story with lots of mystery and intrigue to keep the reader turning pages. Throw in a historical romance that has its twists and turns and I know for a fact I was hooked.

Both Elise and Noah are not the persons they seem to be. Elise is an actress as well an undercover agent who is excellent at her job. Noah is a nobleman who would rather live incognito in the country than confront his past.  When Elise finds out quickly that she has found the missing Duke of Ashland in Noah, a struggle develops as she tries to convince him to come back to the life he was born into. What neither counts on is their developing feelings for each other.  As the problems and drama increase both must decide if they want to pursue the relationship or lose each other.

Great story telling with additional great side characters made me not want to put the book down until I was finished. From start to finish I feel the reader stays engaged.  Loved the book and I am looking in anticipation for my next read by Kelly Bowen.
